What I like best about the data security platform if it's ability to provide information on large data sets very quickly with insightful categories and relevant information to understand the environment security posture. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The on-prem data security platform is very slow especially in data advantage to pull up the data and load the mgmt console. Many times it seems there are random errors that occur on firewalk jobs and the ability to detect resources in 365 to be added for scanning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Varonis allows our team to see the bits and pieces of our file system that goes unseen by the normal admin. It allows us to gain insight to open access and permissions that should not be there so that we can fix them. Our environment is overall safer because of this tool. There isn't much that Varonis does that I don't like. The only thing that I could think to bring up in regards to dislikes would be in the area of reporting. While reporting with Varonis is extremely versatile as it is out of the box, there is no way to create a wholly custom report with access to all report fields.
