Valor coaching helped me manage work stress and reduce burnout and thereby find my joy in science again. My coach used strategies that were tailored to me and that fit my personal situation and needs. I worked with my employer to obtain additional sessions because coaching has been essential to me at this stage of my academic career where I'm transitioning to a more senior leader and juggling numerous responsibilities. I would highly recommend professional coaching and I was very lucky to be linked with Shams. She helped me develop a new perspective both in my professional and personal life.
