Uuki provides an environment where people can exchange ideas, share content, and collaborate on projects. These communities engage customers, increase retention, and increase word-of-mouth. We feel this is the easiest way to partner with our clients, build communities together (instead of just a blog, or something like that). We searched, and other options are very limiting or super expensive, Uuki ticks most boxes at a price that we can manage. ### 2. You don't have to worry about anything really besides just a basic initial configuration. It barely takes 5-10 minutes to set up a community and start working on content **What do you dislike about Uuki?** The SMTP email and PWA requires an extra monthly addon to be considered. Additionally UUKI growing up as of today so functionality is the standard, enough, but there are some interesting features promised in the roadmap that I can't wait to see! **What problems is Uuki solving and how is that benefiting you?** I needed an easy to setup multi-tool solution (posts, discussions, courses, private communities, etc), integrating engagement gamification and monetization gateway, with built-in spam protection. I found as as good plus having integrated an IA tool for efficiency, and SSO competitor's logins for authentication. Its like you dont need to care about anything except content creation and community building. ### 3. For those with Fb groups you never know if a sneeze is going to set off the cancelation of your group. I like that Uuki has an app that can be downloaded easily. Getting the community together is fairly straight forward. I stumbled a bit in the beginning and the UI was easy to figure out. **What do you dislike about Uuki?** When setting up the community there isnt clear instructions on types of files needed and or their size. Do i need at 180x180 for the logo? Does it need to be a Jpeg or can I use something else? A few more clarifying pointers in the beginning would help. **What problems is Uuki solving and how is that benefiting you?** I dont have to be on FB to have a community. I like that there is a instant leaderboard to see who is engaging the most. I want high level participation and these metrics matter. ### 4. The customizations do not appear to orient at times. There are other things like connecting to members and content delivery of course, but if the platform is clinky and garbage nothing else will be able to flow for me. Even with the Appsumo full stack deal I feel like 5% is a bit much. I've been looking for something just like this, for a while now. It's basically like having my own social network, without the ridiculous, invisible moderators and content flaggers. I can build a community without having to play by someone else's rules. There's really no limit here to how I want to run my community, and the options for monetization are great. As an online course creator, and branding agency, I have the ability to provide my customer base multiple options here, with a private community for my DFY customers, but I can also serve my DIY customers with course content, tutorials, downloads, etc. **What do you dislike about Uuki?** As far as what's lacking, it's really hard to decide. I would say that the UI is a little bland/vanilla, but then again, the idea is to create a socially interactive platform that's functional and easy to use. It's a service that most fulfilled our expectations in terms of community, and now that our experience is more competent to talk about them, I can say that it is a platform with good potential to grow. After they refreshed the UI, our users' experience was much better, and they took part in the discussion more often, post, and the community is dynamic and live. Support is excellent, and most of the time, they respond quickly. You can arrange a vast specter of possibilities. **What do you dislike about Uuki?** UUKI is a rapidly growing platform, and there are shortcomings during growth. However, they believe in user feedback and solve all problems without delay; I always benefit when I contact them. Besides that, I would be happier if they previously tested the beta version of UI because, too often, we have issues with functionality. Don't expect full white labeled without an upgrade because every email goes from UUKI, and the mobile app has the UUKI logo. If you want a complete custom-branded community platform, I suggest contacting them and checking what is possible for you to get. **What problems is Uuki solving and how is that benefiting you?** As an education platform, we needed a place for communication with customers, and UUKI was an excellent option. We are happy because it has all features we need for now. Uuki gives you the opportunity to nurture every single member of the community and follow their journey, also thanks to the creation of subgroups, and I really like this. I also find the way in which the community can be moderated to create an environment of rules and mutual respect to be correct and essential. I would also say that the possibility of monetizing through recurring or one-time memberships is important. Another thing I liked was the development of web 3.0 by including the possibility of sharing and monetizing through NFTs, finding this move spot-on and forward-thinking. **What do you dislike about Uuki?** Uuki is still young, so there is ample room for growth and improvement in the short, medium, and long term future. That said, it often presents bugs that can be resolved by refreshing the page, but they are annoying and slow down its use. The UX inside needs improvement, poor and minimal in design, for its potential I would like a better graphic. Another sore point is the customization of emails and the app which are not whitelabel but present the Uuki label, so not fully customized, which is somewhat a limitation. A small reflection, also the lack of content planning within it might be interesting especially for those who manage the community independently, and the possibility of creating a support or dialogue bot for members to have continuous 24H contact. The ability to brand a community with colours and domains is nothing special, but I was surprised at the level of customisation, including custom fonts, links, gamification + analytics (useful to know how to improve engagement) and even the ability to submit sitemaps to GSC for public spaces + content “reading”. I was also surprised to see the SSO capabilities as well, so this could extend to a company community, not just external. The API is well developed and built-in webhooks mean you can integrate with practically any system for the most common events (new user, new post, etc).
