We also use it for high-end desktop powered 3d experiences for exhibitions and marketing. **What do you like best about Unity Platform?** Modular approach to tools in the engine allowing us to pick and choose what things we want to use in projects and it is easy to quickly pull in a plugin or feature you need through the package manager. Powerful 3D rendering capabilities also allow us to make optimized 3d content that looks similar across low-end to high-end devices. **What do you dislike about Unity Platform?** Sometimes features can roll out before each other leading to incompatibility between plugins and tools if you are working with the newest tech. As we work in VR/AR a lot we find this issue affects us a lot. **Recommendations to others considering Unity Platform:** Try out the Unity Asset store for the tools and example packs there it will give you a good starting point for future projects. **What problems is Unity Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** Apps for mobile, web, desktop, AR and VR across those devices also. For exhibitions we use it for real-time interactive displays and showroom screens that users can interact with the 3d rendered content. ### 2. Importing game assets & programming **What do you like best about Unity Platform?** Unity asset library provides lots of free and paid assets to use in your projects. Easy to develop games from scratch and support for AR & VR games. You can also build interactive product visualization. **What do you dislike about Unity Platform?** Cannot load projects directly from unity foundation. Sometimes has lagged and fps issues on world editing. It is costly to get a license for the Unity platform, and a subscription-based fee is not favorable for full-time devs. **Recommendations to others considering Unity Platform:** One of the best game development platforms. High-quality support Support for AR/VR CCD allows faster content delivery to your experiences **What problems is Unity Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** The easy-to-use game creation engine provides asset loading via unity CCD, which is cloud-based. We are using Unity to create AR/VR games for different clients. ### 3. We use the platform to simulate building worlds, teaching gravity and physics, and showcasing using different languages to code. **What do you like best about Unity Platform?** I enjoy the robust nature of the program. It has a lot of add ons and versions to make sure you can get exactly what you need from the experience. **What do you dislike about Unity Platform?** I dislike the constant updates and how vastly different the versions can change. If a student updates, it can cause serious problems to their project that even rolling back the version cannot fix completely. **What problems is Unity Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am solving a new way to teach. I have realized that hands on experience is much more beneficial to students than lecture style.
