Compared to other backup solutions the after sales support really stands out to be as the main selling point, I found the simple GUI and the ease of use also great when compared to other backup solutions on the market. In short, I highly recommend trailing it as they offer free trails and great support. It'll most likely tick all your boxes. **What do you dislike about Unitrends Backup and Recovery?** It's always difficult moving to another backup solution and it's a difficult choice when you factor in training and the possibility of it not working. Having said that, I've been very happy with the solution. **Recommendations to others considering Unitrends Backup and Recovery:** They over a free trail if you have any concerns, which is definitely worth a try. **What problems is Unitrends Backup and Recovery solving and how is that benefiting you?** The main benefit I've found is cost when compared to other solutions, you get great bang for buck. I find the concept of tapes outdated and like being able to "rack and back" with the hardware and then replicate to an offsite DR location. **What do you dislike about Unitrends Backup and Recovery?** I've had a series of issues that have required support and escalation regarding the new Satori interface. The initial set up was very easy and allowed us the peace of mind to know that we had backups that spanned the dates that we wanted. In addition to that, we paired one of their archive appliances up with it to maintain archives at a 6 month & 1 year rotation. I sometimes forget that we even have it since it is so "set and forget". I get daily emails telling me of any issues--anytime I have tested a restoration it just works. **What do you dislike about Unitrends Backup and Recovery?** Their Exchange piece is lacking--it does not have good enterprise grade backup of Exchange, which is too bad. It also isn't well suited towards backing up individual client workstations. I really wanted an appliance that could back up all of my computers with bare-metal backups. **Recommendations to others considering Unitrends Backup and Recovery:** The cost is great and the service is really good.
