The interface is simple, and the idea of quickly transcribing audio and video files is useful. The service can be convenient for basic transcription tasks when it works as expected.

However, my positive impression changed after I paid for the “Unlimited” plan and ran into practical limits or errors during bulk upload. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The biggest issue is the lack of transparency around the “Unlimited” plan.

I paid for TurboScribe Unlimited because it was presented as “Unlimited Transcriptions.” After payment and bulk upload, I ran into upload/transcription limits or errors and was pushed toward a more expensive plan.

If there are fair-use limits, queue limits, bulk upload limits, or other practical restrictions, they should be clearly disclosed before checkout.

Support is also a problem. I contacted TurboScribe support and Leif Fogel directly, but I did not receive a clear explanation, refund, or proper resolution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

TurboScribe makes it much easier to turn audio content into written text without spending a lot of time on manual typing. I work as a Dietician & Nutritionist, manage a homeopathy clinic, and also create health education content for social media platforms. I sometimes work with educational recordings, awareness content, voice notes, webinars, and audio based material, so having a tool that can quickly convert speech into text helps a lot. One thing I like is that uploading audio files and generating transcripts is straightforward. It did not take much time to get started, and the overall workflow feels organized. The transcription quality has been good for clear recordings, and timestamps make it easier to review longer content. This is useful when creating educational notes, subtitles, written summaries, blog content, and content based on recorded audio.

Another thing I like is the flexibility after the transcript is generated. I can edit the transcript, make small corrections, export it in different formats, and even create subtitle files when needed. Features like transcript editing, timestamps, exports, translation options, and transcript sharing help keep content more organized and easier to manage. It also works well with longer recordings, which is important when dealing with health education sessions, recorded explanations, webinars, or awareness content. It is also useful when I need to review longer educational videos or audio recordings and create notes from them. Having the transcript available makes information easier to organize and reference later. Performance has been smooth while processing audio files, and transcripts are generated in a reasonable amount of time. The platform works well for clear recordings, but when a recording includes background music or mixed audio, I sometimes review the transcript more carefully before using it in educational material or subtitles. The transcription quality isn’t very good. There are a lot of errors, it can’t reliably identify speakers, and even American names aren’t picked up correctly. On top of that, the billing policy is terrible and really disappointing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

easy to use this software, very helpful to scribe my reports, I am using this software daily for my job. It has more features to use for my daily scribing, it is easy to implement every report I need to scribe, good customer support, solve any issues immediately.
