"Use the trial version and you will love it"

What do you like best about Tungsten Power PDF?

It's amazingly great to do basic things like signing a pdf with image signature, convert to Word 2007, edit in place, extract images, create pdf from existing files or from the internet, between others. I use windows 10 and this program works perfectly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tungsten Power PDF?

It is kinda tricky the activating process. I wasted so much time on that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"great pdf viewer/editor with ability to remove certain secured features"

5/5

What do you like best about Tungsten Power PDF?

My favorite feature is the ability to reassemble the document, remove pages or add pages from different pdf files, and rotate only selected pages to display proper orientation. I also like that I am able to search the file using the function control-f. If for some reason the text is not recognized, I can click a button to make the pdf searchable via text recognition which is a very fast process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tungsten Power PDF?

In my line of work, I often have to annotate pdf files to provide details of work perform as I am auditing transactions. Compared to Adobe Pro, there are a limited number of fonts available and various other annotation features are also limited. I think for the cost of the product compared to Adobe pro, it gets the job done, its just not always quite as aesthetically pleasing! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Tungsten Power PDF solving and how is that benefiting you?

When I receive certain secured pdf files, I am able to print and save as and the security feature is removed. This doesn't always work, however when it does it is extremely beneficial as I am able to add annotations to the pdf file and doesn't require me to print to hard copy and then scan the document. It is also extremely helpful that you can take the pdf file and print to other file types such as word files or excel files. This is extremely helpful and eliminates the need for me to create certain documents from scratch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Annoying watermark"

1.5/5

What do you like best about Tungsten Power PDF?

Print to PDF was great when it worked without leaving the watermark. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tungsten Power PDF?

When printing to PDF, it left an annoying watermark even though it was licensed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Tungsten Power PDF:

Not a bad alternative to Adobe if you don't use print to PDF. If you are just using it as a viewer, then it works great. Updates to the software are a bit cumbersome. The Nuance Software updater is a pain. It will ask you for an update, then won't have any available updates. In my opinion, I would stay with Adobe Acrobat. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Tungsten Power PDF solving and how is that benefiting you?

Alternative to Adobe. Was able to use as a scanning software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
