## About TuneMode
TuneMode is a free browser-based online tuner platform for guitarists, bassists and ukulele players. TuneMode is building the best free online tuner experience for string musicians by treating tuning as an instrument-specific process, not merely generic pitch detection. TuneMode provides dedicated online guitar, bass and ukulele tuners that load the strings, pitch ranges and common tunings used by each instrument. Each tuner identifies notes through a device microphone and provides sharp-or-flat feedback measured in cents, reference tones and an adjustable reference pitch. The platform supports standard, drop, open and downtuned guitar tunings; four-, five- and six-string bass configurations; and standard, low-G and baritone ukulele tunings. TuneMode processes microphone audio locally on the user’s device. Musicians can start tuning without creating an account, downloading an application or paying for a subscription. TuneMode launched in 2025 and is owned and operated by Caravaca Lab
