Tufin does the work for you, with a complex environment with multiple S2S VPN's and interlinked networks, something that would take an Engineer half a day to do and figure out, takes mere minutes from the moment the ticket is submitted Tufin Path calculation does the work for you. Bringing access requests closer to the end-user, visually as well, the user will see what they request and with the ticketing system know exactly at which step the request is, it used to be a blackhole of information before tufin, Tufin also enables us to properly implement the ZTM, Audit firewalls and conduct cleanups. TUFIN provides excellent visibility in multi-vendor environments consisting of various Firewalls where you can have a single lens that offers excellent visibility of ongoing changes, who did the change and configuration modification. We are using Tufin since 2018. It's a full NSPM suite supporting multiple vendors. Securetrack is best for review, audit, reporting and compliance tasks. Securechange is the core tool for firewall change management, daily task and automation. What do you dislike about Tufin Orchestration Suite? Within the Auro release, components work on Kubernetes. However, there are monitoring issues for Kubernetes. There are also support issues for Auro. We need to open a case to solve the application-related issues. For Tufin to work smoothly, it needs memory and cpu. Tufin own HW appliances are lacking in terms of new generation CPU chipset. Pricing is another bad factor. Within two years, Tufin increased the prices and changed the pricing models. We have hard time on new support agreements and additional module licenses. Upgrades are a bit tricky. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Tufin Orchestration Suite solving and how is that benefiting you? I can definitely divide the life of a firewall administrator life before and after Tufin. We align our company's short and long-term automation strategy with Tufin. We did a good integration with Tufin and CA-Jira. There's a full automation lifecycle for firewalls. Clients/Users can open a firewall ticket through CA, as CA is integrated with Tufin and the other tasks are within the Tufin Ecosystems. Hundreds of new RFEs are processed through the Tufin. USP Risk Matrix does a good job for risk analysis. Audit teams conduct sessional audit tasks through Tufin. We don't want to give access to all firewalls instead they have a total visibility through Tufin. Bİggest gain to use the Tufin is to align and support the digital transformation. We were using only SecureTrack but opted for the ticketing system too. It is very easy to extract the config, check the conformity and the risks. That makes our job easier. From a security risk perspective, Tufin has proven to be an excellent tool for uncovering risks in firewall rule configuration. In particular, over the decade or so that I've been using SecureTrack, it's saved the companies I've worked for on many occasions by catching and alerting them of firewall changes that could have opened significant holes. The network topology feature also makes it much easier for security personnel without direct access to the firewalls to understand what traffic is and isn't permitted through the environment by configured policies. If you don't keep up with updates to the software, you may find the upgrade paths become increasingly complex. It provides visibility into what can often be a complex and constantly evolving landscape across firewalls from multiple vendors. From the perspective of a non-firewall administrator, it's fantastic at providing a normalised view of configurations across different brands of firewalls and helping to surface security risks that may be present.
