What do you like best about TryMyUI?

What do you dislike about TryMyUI?

There is only one chance to do the testing/feedback. If a mistake was made during the first access, there is no way to make any corrections. Completion is also time pressured, which may limit the testing coverage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Decent testing portal but with some poorly-thought features"

What do you like best about TryMyUI?

Ability to test new software, wireframe webpages, finding bugs, performing test cases, providing valuable feedbacks whilst making some income and building tester's reputation in such a way that I would be more frequently invited for future tests. Another added benefit would be the chance to view and to perform test runs on new apps and websites that have yet to go live. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TryMyUI?

Availability of tests is rather scarce; one needs to wait to be notified for any new available tests in their website. Additionally, tests that were originally indicated to be available may quickly became unavailable as TryMyUI implements a rather limited number of testers allowed at the same time. Other than that, the prototypes that were loaded in TrymyUI's app may often encounter errors such as unresponsive buttons and dead links. In this case, I needed to highlight the issue without the option to do any screenshot or video recording that would enable me to highlight the problems that I encountered. Last but not least, the time given for each test is often severely underestimated especially when you encounter unexpected errors right in the middle of testing while the live clock is ticking. Recommendations to others considering TryMyUI:

If you are a developer of web prototypes, mobile apps or software, TryMyUI is one of the many online services offered to gather feedbacks from independent tests worldwide. That being said, the provided testing software integration can be a little bit wonky and is often not trouble free. Because of this, interested developers may need to shop around and doing some comparisons in term of pricing, number of available testers and the ease of use of the website itself. What problems is TryMyUI solving and how is that benefiting you?

To confirm the operability of prototype webpages, apps and software based on the provided test cases. Ability to provide feedbacks for further improvement as well as pointing out if the current setup is adequate from an end-user's perspective, especially on GUI, expected user behaviors, et cetera.
