**What do you like best about Truss?**

What I like best about Truss is the quality of the people they’ve brought into our organization and how quickly they became productive contributors to our business. We’re an early-stage startup building a complex software platform, so having team members who are motivated, adaptable, and able to learn quickly is critical. The Product Owner Truss placed with us has exceeded expectations in every area.

One of the biggest benefits has been workflow efficiency and overall development performance. The Product Owner quickly learned our business domain and now works directly with our engineers to clarify requirements, answer logic questions, and keep initiatives progressing without bottlenecks. That has allowed me, as Chief Product Officer, to stay focused on strategy, customer relationships, and growing the business rather than getting pulled into constant day-to-day coordination.

From a collaboration and UX standpoint, the communication process with Truss has been extremely smooth. Their team integrates seamlessly with our existing workflows, tools, and development processes. The onboarding process was also much faster than I expected. We were able to get meaningful output from the team almost immediately, which is rare when working in a highly specialized industry like ours.

Another major advantage has been the time zone alignment strategy. Their team is already progressing work before our U.S.-based team starts the day, which creates a near-continuous development cycle. Many mornings we come in with items already prepared for testing or review, which has significantly improved velocity and shortened feedback loops.

From a pricing and ROI perspective, the value has been outstanding. For a startup, every hire and every dollar matters. We were initially cautious about adding the role, but the productivity gains, organization, and reduction in operational stress have more than justified the investment.

I’ve also been impressed with how quickly the team adapts to new technologies, evolving priorities, and AI-assisted development workflows. In a fast-moving startup environment, flexibility and intelligence matter just as much as technical skill, and Truss has consistently delivered on both.

Nothing.  Truss has been a tremendous partner.

**What problems is Truss solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Truss has helped solve one of the biggest challenges early-stage startups face: building a high-performing product and development operation without the time, cost, and risk of traditional hiring. Before working with Truss, a major concern was whether we could find people who were both technically capable and able to quickly understand a very specialized business domain. Truss solved that problem by providing highly motivated team members who ramped up far faster than expected.

They’ve also helped solve operational bottlenecks inside our development process. Our Product Owner now acts as a bridge between business strategy and engineering execution, which has dramatically improved communication, prioritization, and development efficiency. Instead of developers waiting on answers or clarification, requirements are being worked through proactively, which keeps momentum moving and reduces delays.

Another major problem Truss helped solve is bandwidth. As Chief Product Officer at a startup, I was spending too much time managing day-to-day coordination instead of focusing on customers, product strategy, and growing the business. Having the right support structure in place has allowed me to operate at a higher strategic level while still knowing critical initiatives are progressing properly.

Truss has also benefited us from a speed and scalability perspective. Because of the time zone advantage, development work is often progressing while our U.S. team is offline, creating a much more continuous workflow. That has improved turnaround times, shortened testing cycles, and accelerated product delivery.

From a financial standpoint, Truss has provided strong ROI by helping us scale intelligently without the overhead and long hiring cycles typically associated with building an in-house team. For a startup, that flexibility and efficiency are extremely valuable.

**What do you like best about Truss?**

After trying other hiring services, switching to Truss for our hiring needs was a breath of fresh air. What stood out immediately was how human the entire process felt. It's clear that Truss genuinely cares about both their clients and the candidates they place, not just closing a deal.

The candidate quality was noticeably higher than what we experienced with Terminal. Truss takes the time to actually know their people, and it shows. While Terminal seemed to treat candidates as inventory, Truss treats them as individuals, and that makes a real difference in the quality of matches.

Beyond the hire itself, the Truss team has been remarkably accessible and supportive before, during, and after the process. Terminal was always eager to sell us more. Truss seems more focused on making sure things actually work out, and that ongoing partnership has been invaluable.

There's really nothing I dislike about working with them.

Truss makes hiring quality software developers fast and efficient.  Our small team can spend more time on building features, supporting customers and making sales with less time in hiring.  Truss also takes all the complexity out of ongoing HR for remote workers.   Payroll becomes as easy as paying an invoice.

**What do you like best about Truss?**

What stands out to me is how straightforward everything feels. Hiring people in other countries usually comes with a lot of legal and payroll complexity, but Truss removes most of that friction. We can focus on building the team and getting people productive while they handle the employment side locally.

I also appreciate the transparency around costs. The salary is exactly what the employee receives, and the Truss fee is clear. There are no confusing markups or hidden calculations, so it’s easy to understand what we’re paying for each team member.

The recruiting side has been strong as well. The candidates we see are well screened and the process moves quickly. That saves a lot of time compared to running a full recruiting cycle internally.

Another thing that makes a difference is the responsiveness of the team. When questions come up about contracts, payroll, or local regulations, someone answers quickly and usually solves the issue right away. That reliability builds trust over time.

I honestly don’t have much to complain about. Our experience with Truss has been very positive so far. The service works the way we expected and the team has been reliable whenever something needs attention.

What I like best about Truss is how it simplifies the entire process of hiring and managing remote engineers. The candidates are pre-vetted, which saves a huge amount of time, and the platform handles payroll, compliance, and onboarding. It allows us to focus on building our product instead of dealing with hiring logistics.

Nothing major. Occasionally it would be nice to have a broader pool for very niche roles, but for most positions, we’ve been able to find strong candidates quickly.

**What do you like best about Truss?**

Truss assumes the majority of logistics and overhead for my company so that I can focus on being a product manager and executive.  We rely on a large team of developers, and I have never had to worry about legal overhead, recruiting, payroll, and other details.  Their service has helped us source a great team and we have built a product over 5 years that is a leading software in racquet sports technology.

No complaints.  They handle everything with class.  Any time there's a hiccup, they resolve it quickly, that's what is most important.

So far, everything has been working well. No complaints.

**What problems is Truss solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've owned a small software company based in Texas that specializes in developing online apps. Our company has been considering expanding our team. However, I've been hesitant about taking on the legal, payroll, and benefits processes since that would add more overhead to our business, causing us to divert our attention from improving our core product and addressing our customers' needs.
