The program restricts the use of the phones while the vehicle is in motion, just like it says it will. **What do you dislike about TRUCE Software?** The drivers that don't want to keep the app installed on their phones. We have had a couple of squeaky wheels that try to uninstall and reinstall the app vs. just leaving it running at all times. **Recommendations to others considering TRUCE Software:** Try it, you won't be sorry. **What problems is TRUCE Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** Distracted Driving reduction was the goal. Since implementing the program we have been able to see better driving scores for our drivers. We expect to see improved fuel economy from our drivers since they are reducing the # of aggressive maneuvers, speeding, hard braking and acceleration. ### 3. The app is very user friendly and the dashboard is easy to read. **What do you dislike about TRUCE Software?** If you open up google maps prior to driving, then you need to also click the google maps icon within the Truce Dashboard which causes you to take your eyes off the road for a split second. **Recommendations to others considering TRUCE Software:** I think it is great software for any company that has fleet vehicles. It helps keeps employees safe and free of distractions. **What problems is TRUCE Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** No problems to report. You do need to log back in every couple weeks, but that is not a big deal. The biggest benefit is safe driving while still being able to use GPS through your phone. ### 4. In fact, if you use the console for everything it has to offer, most of the time you can find the solution to any problem without having to contact support. Time saver for sure. **What do you dislike about TRUCE Software?** The drive scoring/tracking feature has lots of room for improvement, but that's to no fault of Truce. If you understand how Truce works, it's mainly due to external factors out of Truce's control, such as GPS issues and/or physical damage to the user's phone, location can sometimes be a factor... If you use Truce exclusively for upholding a certain standard of driving behavior for your company, it's likely some individuals will be at an unfair disadvantage. HOWEVER, this feature is still very good for knowing the whereabouts of employees (as long as they are compliant with Truce) and being able to track unauthorized vehicle use! **What problems is TRUCE Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** Distracted driving by personal phone usage has dramatically decreased, and has almost been eliminated altogether! Truce helps companies take a proactive approach, preventing accidents and dangerous situations on the road. ### 5. I enjoy seeing the amount of distractions that are eliminated. When the app works without issues, I like that. I like when people tell me there are no issues and they see why we chose to do a cell phone blocker. **What do you dislike about TRUCE Software?** The overall product. We have constant issues with the app not working or working when it shouldnt i.e. someone sitting in the office when a truck drives by with TRUCE. I am not notified when someone deletes the app even though the sales person told me I would be. The website is mostly inaccurate when it comes to employees and the status of their TRUCE and takes days to update. The amount of time it takes to manage TRUCE at A-C is ridiculous. I have an admin that spends hours fixing TRUCE issues, communicating error messages, etc. **Recommendations to others considering TRUCE Software:** I would not recommend TRUCE to anyone. **What problems is TRUCE Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** TRUCE seems to have a positive affect on reducing distracted driving. We have not had a distracted driving accident since implementing TRUCE. The benefits are very limited at this time because of the amount of issues we see. ### 6. Kent Lequire and K'Darious Cash have been extremely helpful. I never used any other products comparable to this. From what I hear this system is the easiest to install and manage. **What do you dislike about TRUCE Software?** The only issue I have is when updates come out sometimes a driver is able to uninstall the app, but Truce has been working with us to get our compliance score back up. The layout of the insights could use a little work in my opinion but overall very well put together. **Recommendations to others considering TRUCE Software:** Completely worth the investment. **What problems is TRUCE Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** A lot of drivers are realizing the addiction they have to their phones. Truce has allowed our drivers to be safer, limiting accidents and distractions. There is no telling how many accidents this software has helped our fleet avoid. ### 7. We currently use an Android tablet with mapping and dispatch software in a split-screen format and truce is able to work without any user interaction. Support staff are friendly and helpful **What do you dislike about TRUCE Software?** The Truce beacons rely on batteries and cannot be hard-wired to the vehicle. This means that after a number of years, the beacons must be replaced. We have experieced issues with Truce not "kicking in" properly, or inconsistently and there seems little that can be done to troubleshoot on the device. **What problems is TRUCE Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** Truce fulfils our requirements to meet local laws around distracted driving when using a tablet like device in the vehicle. Our Android tablet is mounted to the dash of the vehicle. It certainly does help in preventing distracted driving ### 8. I use the podcast app, it wont allow waze or maps to function correctly. I don't know of any competitive options **What do you dislike about TRUCE Software?** It wont remind me of upcoming calendar events so I miss important meetings, it will auto answer and hang up on people, if I am on a call even hands free and start driving it hangs up on people and when I park it is super slow to unlock my phone for use **Recommendations to others considering TRUCE Software:** Know what it is like if you have a team in the field that needs to be quick and agile **What problems is TRUCE Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** Keeping employees from texting or on phones while driving.
