The only good thing is that it keeps a record of what was done. **What do you dislike about Trimble LiveCount?** As it is now I dislike a lot about it. It is slow, twitchy, and frustrating. I can do paper takeoff faster. Here are some emails I sent to Trimble that will explain that. PLEASE IGNORE ALL THE MISSPELLINGS AND BAD PUNCTUATION. I WAS FRUSTRATED AND IN A HURRY WHEN I WROTE THEM. Sent to Trimble 2-24-2022 ( REGARDING THE RIGHT CLICK MENU FOR EDITING MEASUREMENTS.) PLEASE MAKE THE ITEMS IN THE RED CIRCLE A HOTKEY OR LARGER PLEASE REMOVE THE DROPDOWN ON THE DELETE AND UPDATE KEYS TO SHOW BOTH OPTIONS TO UPDATE THE SINGLE ITEM OR THE GROUP. ITS ANOTHER IN MANY OF EXTRA CLICKS. Sent to Trimble 2-24-2022 (THIS WAS SENT ABOUT THE AUTO COUNT REVIEW WINDOW. THAT WINDOW IS POORLY DESIGNED) This screen needs to be expandable and the little window inside need to be adjustable Sent to Trimble 2-24-2022 I would add that the side menus for Drawings, Drawing Set Up, ect are need a lot of improvement too. The style button is just awful. Selecting a style is slow. This program is not half as fast as the Livecount Pro version. WITH THE COPY FEATURE, THIS WOULD BE VERY USEFUL Sent to Trimble 2-2-2022 (THIS REGARDS THE ACCUBID ANYWHERE PROGRAM) Here is a suggestion for Accubid Anywhere Make the tiny triangle larger or make the line active on a single click to open the window. A lot of time is wasted just hitting that small target. In addition, it would be cool if the choices always appeared in the window next door and themselves were active. Sent to Trimble 2-1-2022 It would be faster to be able to press a key to link to an existing annotation rather and move the mouse up to the top of the screen. ( A PIC WAS INCLUDED HERE) In addition it would be faster to hit a key to do all the right mouse click options on a measurement. Sent to Trimble 2-1-2022 Another suggestion We should be able to use the pan function WHILE measuring our counting. The middle key on the mouse is jumpy and frequently goes to full screen. This is maddening. Sent to Trimble 1-28-2022 Another suggestion The autocount feature needs to work like the LiveCount Pro version. The ability to select large quantities of results to delete or include would be very helpful. Changing the size of the resultswould be helpful. In addition, the window should have the feature to make it larger to display more results. Sent to Trimble 1-25-2022 I HAVE ANOTHER SUGGESTION BRING BACK THE FAVORITES TAB AND MAKE IT DETACHABLE. (THIS WAS REFERRING TO THE GOOD PROGRAM LIVECOUNT PRO) Sent to Trimble 1-20-2022 IT WOULD BE NICE TO BE ABLE TO CHANGE THE ORDER OF THESE (DROP DOWN MENUS ON THE LEFT SIDE. A PICTURE WAS INCLUDED BUT COULD NOT PASTE HERE) FOR EXAMPLE ONCE THE DRAWINGS AR SET UP I WOULD LIKE TO MOVE THAT TAB TO THE BOTTOM IT WOULD BE NICE TO DETACH THEM ALSO Sent to Trimble 1-20-2022 The drawing legend should also include attributes from Accubid anywhere. Otherwise, it is useless. Sent to Trimble 1-20-2022 AS A FOLLOW UP THE USER SHOULD NOT HAVE TO HOVER OVER POINTS TO ADD TO A RUN. IT SHOULD BE THAT THE USER CAN SELECT THE TAKEOFF AND THEN HIT A KEY TO ADD TO A RUN. IN ADDITION IT SHOULD BE THAT LINES CAN BE COPIED. Sent to Trimble 1-19-2022 Here are a few suggestions. I will have more. FYI, I used Livecount Pro for 6 years and really like it. It would be nice if the hotheys from that one were all in this one. 1 CREATE A HOTKEY FOR ADDING POINTS TO A RUN 2 EXPAND THE SIZE OF THE ICONS ON THE RIGHT CLICK MENUS FOR ADDING POINTS TO A RUN, SPLITTING AND MERGING 3 MAKE TH EF8 KEY A HOTKEY FOR ENDING A RUN 4 MAKE THE DARK BLUE RIBBON UP TOP OF THE DRAWING DETACHABLE BY SECTION. 5 LET THE ARROW KEYS ACT TO NAVIGATE TO THE NEXT OR PREVIOUS DRAWING. 6 BRING BACK THE LIVECOUNT PRO DRAWING TO COMPARE PROTOCOL AND FUNCTIONALITY. 7 MAKE A HOTKEY FOR SELECTING A ZOOM AREA AND A HOTKEY FOR ZOOM FIT TO THE WINDOW. **What problems is Trimble LiveCount solving and how is that benefiting you?** See above for problems. I normally use Revit for quantity take-offs but it is also good if you required take-offs from pdf as well as 3d models. it makes the overall process fast on-site and helps to minimize error. speed up the construction process. I like it the most because it gives you more accurate data according to your enterprise so you can say it works like estimation software as well. **What do you dislike about Trimble LiveCount?** I did not work so much on it because I usually prefer Revit for take-off because we create 3d models and it is easy to create take-offs from Revit in 3d. but I like its accuracy and the process to create the take-offs from pdfs. it gives an estimator experience that you are the estimator of that project because it works like that way. **Recommendations to others considering Trimble LiveCount:** I would say if you want to minimize your cost of construction and wants more accurate data of the number of different trades then you should go for it. it makes the process faster and provides you a valuable data like Trimble field points. **What problems is Trimble LiveCount solving and how is that benefiting you?** Trimble live count helps me to get the more accurate quantity take-off data according to enterprise material. it helps me to pre-estimate the cost of the whole material for the construction. The measurement process is clunky and has too many steps. Options that should be available in a "right click menu" aren't available. The inability to customize your measurement data for a CSV export. The inability to group/organize your measurements. The inability to click on my measurement in the totals box to highlight said measurements on the drawing. How slow drawings are to load.
