"Effortless Kanban Management with Trello’s Intuitive, Fast, and Flexible Boards"
5/5
What do you like best about Trello?

Trello is one of the easiest project management tools I’ve used. Its drag-and-drop Kanban boards make it simple to organize tasks, set priorities, and track progress at a glance. I also appreciate how flexible it is—I can use it for personal task management as well as team projects without needing to learn a complicated system.

Getting started with Trello was very straightforward. The interface feels intuitive, so new users can quickly understand how boards, lists, and cards work without extensive training. Thanks to the clean design and guided setup, most team members can become productive in a short amount of time.

Integrations with tools like Slack, Google Drive, and other productivity apps help keep everything connected, and the automation features (Butler) save time by taking care of repetitive tasks. As a result, Trello has made it much easier to collaborate with teammates, stay organized, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

Trello has also been reliable even when working with larger boards and multiple collaborators. Pages load quickly, updates sync almost instantly, and I’ve rarely run into slowdowns or downtime. Overall, the platform feels stable and responsive for day-to-day use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trello?

While Trello is great for task management, it can become difficult to navigate as projects grow larger. Managing multiple boards and cross-project dependencies isn't as seamless as it could be, and reporting capabilities are fairly limited without Power-Ups or third-party integrations. I also wish there were more advanced built-in features for workload management and project analytics. For simple projects it's excellent, but larger, more complex workflows can require additional tools or customization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Trello keeps everyone on the same page without adding more meetings"
5/5
What do you like best about Trello?

Marketing projects almost never go exactly as planned. A designer updates a graphic, someone rewrites the copy, sales wants a different angle, or the product team pushes a feature back at the last minute. That's just normal. For a long time we try to keep up with all of that using spreadsheets, group chats, and way too many messages. It works... until it doesn't. These days, Trello is where everyone goes to see what's happening. That's probably what I like most about it. Nobody needs a long onboarding session to figure it out. I show someone how boards, lists, and cards work, and they're usually up and running within minutes. Butler Automation also saves us more time than I expected. Simple things like assigning owners, updating due dates, or moving cards automatically happen in the background, so we spend less time managing the board and more time actually getting work done. What do you dislike about Trello?

One lesson I learn pretty quickly is that automation can get out of hand if you're not careful. We get a little too excited with Butler at first and start creating rules for almost everything. A few weeks later, cards are moving around so often that it's hard to tell what's happening. The tool isn't the problem. We just realize that good automation should make a workflow easier to follow, not more complicated. Once we clean things up, everything feels much more predictable. "Simple, Visual Project Tracking with Helpful Checklists and Butler Automation"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Trello?

We use Trello for project management, and its boards-and-cards system is both simple and highly visual. At a glance, you can tell exactly what stage each task is in just by looking at the board. The checklists inside cards are especially helpful for breaking work down into smaller, manageable steps and keeping track of what’s been done. Butler automation is also quite good: it can automatically move cards and send reminders based on the rules you set, so you don’t have to manage those updates manually every time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trello?

Trello can get a bit messy when a project grows. Having too many cards on one board quickly becomes overwhelming and hard to manage. The free plan also feels quite limited; most useful power-ups require a paid plan, which comes across as a bit unfair. And for complex projects with dependencies between tasks, Trello falls short—it’s just not built for that kind of complicated project management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient task management and team collaboration with Trello"
5/5
What do you like best about Trello?

As a software engineer, I like Trello because it keeps project tasks organized in a simple and visual way. The boards, lists, and cards make it easy to track features, bugs, and development tasks. I also like the flexibility of adding checklists, comments, attachments, and labels, which helps with team collaboration and keeping work details in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trello?

The main thing I dislike is that some advanced project management features, like detailed reporting and complex workflow tracking, are limited compared to more enterprise-focused tools. For larger projects with many teams, managing a high number of cards can sometimes become difficult. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Trello Keeps My Creative Projects Organized with Clean, Visual Boards"
5/5
What do you like best about Trello?

Trello makes it very easy to organize my design and creative work visually. I like the drag-and-drop board system because I can quickly move tasks between stages like pending, in progress, and completed without making things confusing. The interface feels clean and simple, so even when handling multiple interior or graphic design projects, everything stays easy to track. I also like that I can create separate boards for different clients or projects and add notes, deadlines, references, and design updates in one place. It saves time and helps keep daily workflow more organized without feeling complicated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trello?

One thing I noticed while using Trello is that it works very smoothly for simple and medium-sized projects, but as boards grow with many cards, checklists, and lists, the workspace can start to feel crowded and slightly difficult to organize efficiently. During larger creative and design-related projects, finding older updates, attachments, or specific task details sometimes required extra searching, especially when multiple team members were actively updating boards. I also feel that some advanced features such as automation, timeline views, detailed reporting, and certain integrations are restricted in the free plan, which may limit productivity for teams handling more complex workflows. For beginners, understanding Power-Ups, automations, labels, and workflow customization can also take a little time initially because there are many ways to organize projects inside the platform. Apart from these points, Trello remains easy to use and visually organized for daily collaboration. Improving board management for larger projects and making a few advanced tools more accessible in lower plans would make the platform even more efficient and user friendly for long-term use. "Highly Customizable, Clean UI with Easy Setup"
5/5
What do you like best about Trello?

I use the free version of Trello for both personal task management and game tracking. I like how clean the UI is, allowing it to be as simple or complex as I want. The drag and drop mechanic is extremely useful for moving tasks between statuses, and the details of a task being under the title keeps the screen visually clear and easy to scan. The initial setup was very easy, thanks to the clean UI and easy-to-follow instructions. I still have a lot to explore with Trello as I work on using it's built in integrations with the other apps I use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trello?

I do with that the automation was a little easier to understand. I am sure that if I spend more time with it I will understand it more, but starting off it was a little difficult to understand. I think mainly I just needed to understand the Trello lingo in order to truly use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Keeps Our Remote Team Aligned with Ease"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Trello?

I really love how customizable Trello is. It integrates well with other tools, like automation with Butler and syncing with Google Drive, which makes it fit into a broader tech stack. Trello's visual board makes it easy to keep a scattered team aligned, helping remote members see who's working on what, where bottlenecks are, and what's next in the workflow. The initial setup was pretty straightforward, and it gave our small but growing team a simple way to stay organized as we scaled. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trello?

When we have multiple tasks that rely on each other, it can be a bit harder to visualize those dependencies compared to some more advanced tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Game-Changer for Remote Collaboration"
5/5
What do you like best about Trello?

I like that Trello is simple, visual, and flexible, making it easy to see what's going on without sifting through spreadsheets or calendars. We've been using a digital Trello board in our office for nearly a decade, and it's super easy for everyone. We organize tasks by assigning them to buckets, create lists and due dates, all within each tag. Being able to assign work to staff by simply dragging a client's tag under their name is very convenient. The integration with Google Docs is useful because we include critical dates and links within the tags, which makes it easy to access needed information. Transitioning from a physical whiteboard to a digital Trello board was smooth, and setting it up was much easier than I expected. Overall, Trello handles our day-to-day planning well, especially as our team works remotely and it helps us keep track of what everyone is doing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trello?

When Trello goes down, I'm lost with my work organization. I also don't see much reason to pay for Trello unless necessary to keep the board active. It would be better if Trello integrated more with Google Meet because now we have to share screens during calls to view the board. I'd like a Figma add-on for Trello to allow previews directly in Trello. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Workflow Management with Trello"
5/5
What do you like best about Trello?

My favorite thing about Trello is how easy it is to use and how well it collaborates with the entire team, allowing me to tag somebody and use my whole platform to share with the team. I also love that it's very clean to look at. Like, the entire board is just very easily read. Visibility is beautiful. I can easily use the cards to create a flow. I can use due dates and color code the board to know what needs to be started, what's in progress, and what needs approval. Several tools like that in Trello just make it super visibly easy to use and to make a workflow. I integrate Trello with Front and Slack, which makes it super easy to keep all of my work through Trello, but on my different integrations and platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trello?

I don't have anything other than onboarding taking a bit of time, but once you're in and understand the functions, it's super easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, Reliable, and Easy to Integrate"
4/5
What do you like best about Trello?

What I like most about Trello is its simplicity and flexibility. We used Trello as part of a MuleSoft integration to exchange task-related information between systems, and working with its REST APIs was straightforward. The API documentation was clear, which made it easier to create and update cards programmatically. On the user side, the board and card layout is clean and intuitive, so it was easy for both technical and non-technical team members to track work. Overall, it was reliable for managing tasks while also fitting well into our integration workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trello?

As projects grow, boards can become a bit cluttered and harder to manage. Some advanced features are only available in paid plans, and while the APIs are easy to use, handling synchronization in integrations can take some extra effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
