I also sleep better knowing the system automatically flags when a user’s certification is about to expire. There is a lack of clear, short guidance and automation, and it doesn’t allow any back-end coding to customize reporting. Export automation doesn’t exist, and the APIs are limited as well. Also, the team is located in NZ, so any meetings you have are early in the morning for projects or upgrades. Even when you report an issue, Synergy responds several hours later. The ability to lock or push out content helps control costs and ensure the right people receive necessary training. I appreciate the customization features, as we can create menu options, dashboards, and landing pages that are visible only to relevant people. It's useful to have simple, clean pages for basic users and more detailed pages for subject matter experts. The ability to restrict access prevents menus from looking cluttered and protects sensitive information. Creating sign-in sheets via reports doesn't work well if there are multiple sessions on the same date. Making flexible bookings for multi-day courses requires extensive admin work and separate bookings. Additionally, the compliance feature is sometimes difficult to manage because completions have to be archived for refreshing, which confuses people and data.
