How much does Tolgee cost in 2026?

According to G2 data, Tolgee pricing in 2026 starts at €58.00 and can reach €373.00 depending on the selected plan. Pricing may vary based on billing terms or usage, so users should review the Tolgee's official pricing page for the most current details.

Who is Tolgee pricing best suited for?

Tolgee's pricing is best suited for small development teams and individual developers, reflected in G2 review demographics where small-business reviewers dominate across computer software, IT services, non-profit, and localization industries. The free and Team (€49/month) tiers serve solo developers and startups managing a few apps with limited translation volume. G2 reviewers in mid-market computer software gravitate toward Business or Advanced tiers, valuing QA checks, translation memory management, and AI features. Tolgee's Advanced tier (€499/month) fits growing SaaS teams needing branching and granular permissions. Tolgee's Enterprise tier targets large organizations requiring SSO, unlimited keys, and dedicated training.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of Tolgee?

Tolgee's free tier covers 500 keys, 10,000 MT credits, 3 seats, Figma plugin, Translation Memory, and single Content Delivery — sufficient for hobby projects, per G2 reviewers who used it for self-hosted personal apps. Tolgee's paid plans unlock substantially higher key and seat limits, webhooks, glossaries, professional translation access, custom content storage, QA checks, AI Playground, branching, Slack integration, and granular permissions. The Team tier (€49/month) is also free for open-source projects. G2 reviewers note the self-hosted free edition lacks some cloud-version features, making Tolgee's paid cloud tiers the stronger choice for teams needing full feature access.

Is Tolgee considered good value for its pricing?

G2 reviewers consistently rate Tolgee highly, with most reviews at 4.0–5.0 stars, and pricing sentiment is notably positive. Multiple G2 users explicitly call Tolgee cheap, reasonably priced, and free of overpriced features. The free tier's 500 keys and self-hosting option make Tolgee accessible for hobby and proof-of-concept work at zero cost. Tolgee's paid plans scale from €49/month for small teams to €499/month for advanced tooling, with reviewers in computer software and localization industries citing strong value relative to hiring human translators. G2 reviews of Tolgee indicate the main value concern is self-hosted feature parity, not price.

"Constant Improvements, Strong AI Features, and Great Value"
5/5
What do you like best about Tolgee?

Its constant improvements, its AI features and its price. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tolgee?

Some actions require too many clicks or keyboard commands, wich slows down the translation process.

Sometimes, the saving time is too high, which has a direct impact on the tool's performance.

Also, they could offer integrations with more tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Barus Urbanova of Tolgee

Than you for your review! We are happy you enjoy constant improvements Tolgee goes through. We are really working hard on that, so it is very nice to see the real impact. 💕

Also, thank you for sharing your challenges with Tolgee. The response time is about to improve, because this is really hot topic in our office, we are working on that every day - you can see how we are doing on our public status page: status.tolgee.io.

And the integrations! I am literally so happy to hear that, because there is a Tolgee Apps interface coming out soon, which will allow anyone to create his/her own integration into any tool, so the connection of Tolgee with outer world is really going to accelerate.

So stay tuned and happy translating!

"Intuitive Translation Workflow, but Hard to Justify the Price"
2.5/5
What do you like best about Tolgee?

I liked Tolgee’s simplicity, especially its intuitive UI, CLI, and overall workflow. It was very easy to set up when I switched from Lokalise, and I found it to be a nice tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tolgee?

I no longer use Tolgee because it's a paid product. I ended up vibe-coding the same solution within a week, and it's easier to build a similar tool today for a fraction of the price, so I wouldn't recommend it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
