Google sheet integration is fantastic! Can use normal Google apis, formulas, etc; to move transactions around, analyze, and store historical data. Plus their templates are fantastic and they have a labs app also with tons of templates that can be customized. **What do you dislike about Tiller Money?** My login credentials at some banks/institutions need to very freqently be re-entered and authenticated for those accounts. I realize this likely a complexity of the security protocols that certain banks require and that Tiller is unfortunately at their mercy; nonetheless, it can be a bit frustrating to keep having my account(s) logged out within the spreadsheet. Templates can be finicky, namely Excel on MacOS. **Recommendations to others considering Tiller Money:** Tiller really excels (ha, pun intended...) within the Google Sheets environment and can be tested for free with their 30 day Trial. So if you're looking to this product as a Sheets user, give it a try! **What problems is Tiller Money solving and how is that benefiting you?** Personal financial management and analysis using Excel (or Google Sheets) that's accessible on my desktop. Simple, smooth sync of all my bank data and transactions into a normal spreadsheet. ### 2. Personal Accounting Made Convenient **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Aaron S. | Treasurer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2021 **What do you like best about Tiller Money?** Tiller makes it possible for anyone to do what businesses do every day with their accounting and reporting systems but at home. This reasonably priced software, I believe I only pay $72.00 annually, compiles all of your financial data from multiple bank or credit accounts into a single place. That alone was something I had wanted to have for years, but it doesn't stop there. Tiller provides tools for setting up a category for each type of expense and automatically categorizing each payment as they come into the system. Their budget sheets are customizable, and once up and running, you can have a budgeted versus actuals comparison of your expenses. Finally, all of this data can get funneled into a graphics summary page of your accounts. My favorite feature, however, is the daily morning emails that summarize your account balances and transactions that posted to those accounts the previous day. **What do you dislike about Tiller Money?** It can be challenging to do budget customization outside the monthly budget template; it's possible but time-consuming. Accounts, especially our credit account, tend to get disconnected frequently and can throw us off with our budget as we'll think there's not as much on our credit card as there is. These are quirks, but overall, it's a straightforward software that allows my wife to use it who is not spreadsheet savvy but also allows for customization for those like me who like to create and tinker with additional features. **What problems is Tiller Money solving and how is that benefiting you?** Since beginning to use Tiller, I've seen a more efficient use of our income.
