Software vulnerabilities are also reduced as we have no admins, Supply chain issues mostly mitigated for the application and software side. User's systems just seem to just work now and the old adage of reloading windows never happens. Plus the ability to elevate the program for certain applications gives the user some power to perform duties. So seeing better system performance and happy clients. Deploying ThreatLocker is one of the easier tasks, it integrates very well. The platform is easy to use and intuitive, aunified audit helps not just for using ThreatLocker but also general system and logging needs. Pricing is inline and not as high as other platforms so an easy sell. Cyber Heros has a very fast response time for support and many times they will help or just take care of the rule. **What do you dislike about ThreatLocker Zero Trust Platform?** I always say I have a love hate relationship. The only downside is how Zero Trust Works. So when applications change that do not have a built in rule or they change how they work with a computer. You do have to do some lifting or relearning of the application. not the end of the world it is a step. We find explaining to the user and client what and why usually helps here. You can use the cyber hero auto approval, This service help with this lift if you have a small team or struggle with understanding the platform or are busy with other tasks. **What problems is ThreatLocker Zero Trust Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** Not having an incident. Clients/users trust the IT to keep them safe. To date wee have not experienced any ransomware or other event as they have all been stopped. It will block almost all applications from running on your machine. That being said as a software developer I sometimes struggle with Threatlocker as it blocks me from doing things that I need to do, even though my programs are allowed and whitelisted. **What do you dislike about ThreatLocker Zero Trust Platform?** Threatlocker is sometimes hard to use. It will block so many applications from running on your machine that it can disrupt your workflow, and make it hard for you to work. I have spent hours requesting access to common applications that I use, adding them as approved programs, and putting my machine in learning mode. As a software developer, I write programs. Threatlocker will continually block the programs that I am working on, even if I have allowed them. We have tried so many ways to correct this, nothing seems to work. The struggle is real, as this piece of software makes it hard for me to do my job. I don't particularly like this product, and will frequently tell my supervisor how much I hate it, as it makes my job 100x more difficult to do. I love that the support is great, with live chat available, and they provide support right there on the spot every time. You get a dedicated solutions engineer who is also the CPO of the company, and he's great. You can even talk to the CEO, Danny Jenkins, ask any questions, express your opinion or experience, and they will take feedback seriously and make things happen for customers if it makes sense. The culture is awesome, with very humble people, and every staff member is great and willing to help. Their modules work differently from other competitors, and I appreciate how easy the initial setup was. With an assigned solutions engineer, they do it with you and walk you through it live, and their KBs are helpful. Application Control and Ringfencing are unlike anything out there. In a nutshell, it controls what can run, what apps can do, and where data can go. The storage control feature has been great for specific needs, allowing me to limit specific read and write actions for external storage devices. This control prevents the use of external drivers from being risky or always denied, which is crucial for our operations. **What do you dislike about ThreatLocker Zero Trust Platform?** Training is very needed as, for example, missing the window to use install mode is very easy to do. The university doesn't offer hands-on use to get familiar, and that would help a lot more than just text. **What problems is ThreatLocker Zero Trust Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use ThreatLocker Platform to manage application permissions across endpoints, reducing the risk of installing malicious apps. The unified audit is great; it has some good filters for network traffic and application denials. I like the built-in apps for app control, which make things easier with pre-created hashes for programs in our environment. The learning mode is really nice as well, it can learn in the hashes and paths of programs that may not be on the built-in list, making the implementation much easier. **What do you dislike about ThreatLocker Zero Trust Platform?** Being able to set up my own default filter for the unified audit would be nice. And maybe some sort of learning mode for network control. **What problems is ThreatLocker Zero Trust Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use ThreatLocker Platform to prevent all forms of malicious code and zero-day attacks, manage program and network access. If something can't be determined for allowance, it's turned over to us, and the process works pretty well. The setup process for the platform was fairly easy, and the onboarding of customers was good.
