Amazon Linux 2 is a lightweight and stable operating system that is highly optimized for AWS, allowing instances to boot rapidly and remain dependable even when handling heavy workloads. Its seamless integration with EC2, Systems Manager, and CloudWatch, along with frequent security updates, makes managing large fleets straightforward and requires minimal OS maintenance. It is easy to implement and integrate, and provides great customer support. I mostly like working with Linux system that is why I have used it more frequently. The ecosystem and documentation are not as extensive as those of more mainstream distributions like Ubuntu, which means that resolving less common issues can sometimes take more time. Additionally, package availability may lag behind what is offered by community-driven distributions, so I occasionally have to resort to workarounds or custom builds to access newer tools and libraries.
