## About Terminator
Produce a useful tool for arranging terminals. It is inspired by programs such as gnome-multi-term, quadkonsole, etc. in that the main focus is arranging terminals in grids (tabs is the most common default method, which Terminator also supports).

## Terminator Reviews
  ### 1. Terminator: Your Multi-Window Terminal Solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Terminator?**

Terminator provides functionality to handle multiple tabs in a grid type view. This is of too much use as many a times in a normal terminal we don't use a tab or require very minimal space for it to run but Terminator gives us the freedom in this case that we can customize the size of the tabs in the grid also we can break one one-fourth of the screen to even smaller sections horizontally and vertically as per our requirement. Also one important feature is mouse focus on following mouse pointer as we don't have to click the screen again and again to focus on specific tabs.

**What do you dislike about Terminator?**

The only thing which I believe should be present in the software is more flexibility in changing the size and position of the tabs, we should be able to drag and drop the tabs and make them group together using mouse pointer.

**What problems is Terminator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving the problem of monotonous working for developers, using terminator we can multitask and look out for different tasks and work simultaneously. It is making programmers work faster and provides them flexibility to manage their tabs.

  ### 2. Best Terminal

**What do you dislike about Terminator?**

Sometimes it might lag a bit and may consume some resources

**What problems is Terminator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not solving any Problem
It is just one of the terminal out there
with its customizable options such as colour, number of lines to keep in terminal
multiwindow. broadcast

  ### 3. Multitask King

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Madhav P. | Back End Engineer Intern, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2022

**What do you like best about Terminator?**

I can easily split all my windows any way I want as long as I have screen space and the hardware to support that many terminals compared to the regular terminal it had more features and plugins

**What do you dislike about Terminator?**

nothing there to dislike yeah sometimes it lags due to many tabs and its interface should also be a little bit more accessible many of its settings are hard to understand for beginners

**What problems is Terminator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

i don't have to open multiple terminals or care about having enough screen space I can easily vertically or horizontally open as many tabs as my hardware allows and I can see them in only one window not to open many other windows

  ### 4. A real beast to make terminal experience much better

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bipul H. | CP Lead | CodeChef CGC Chapter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Terminator?**

It is an ultimate solution to various features provided in Gnome Terminal, thus making it the most used software in my Linux system. It has got various cool features like:
- Creating multiple small terminal tabs in a single windows
- drag and drop terminal tabs from one window to another
- broadcast a single command to all the tabs present in the window
- Resize and rotate tabs
- Change background color, window transparency, font family, and font size

**What do you dislike about Terminator?**

There is nothing to be disliked about, but I would suggest that developers provide a feature to broadcast to specific terminal tabs in the window that would be helpful when we have to run the same command on some selected tabs.

**What problems is Terminator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use terminator due to its split tab functionality. I usually deploy a server on one tab while monitoring resource usage and other tabs for different purposes. It helps me see all tabs simultaneously rather than continuously switching to different tabs in other terminal software.

  ### 5. One of bests shell programs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Electronics | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2018

**What do you like best about Terminator?**

The simplicity of the software and the great performance

**What do you dislike about Terminator?**

The software is not available in windows plattform, as feature it woult be good funcionality like cygwin in Windows.

**What problems is Terminator solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can have several shells in my linux system, and I can manage it in the same window, I can visualize several shells at same time.
