With MS Teams becoming a place for hypercollaboration, and a lot of the senior architects ending up spread thin due to the juniors looking for constant calls, insert TeemyCo --- We now have the ability for juniors to see who's around, our seniors can pop in and out at will and if no seniors are around then we have the rest of the main team in the offices/spaces to work with people collectively. It has provided a huge amount of benefit, whilst maybe not for the primary reason most people would look to implement a tool like this - a reason nonetheless! On top of that, multiple screen shares at the same time = huge, huge win. I had Gabby as my point of contact throughout the demo/trial/choosing period and she was fantastic, passing feedback to the development teams and always being responsive when I had a query - a huge thank you and a huge recommendation. **What do you dislike about Teemyco?** The only thing I would look to insert into TeemyCo is wider integration with other software providers. Things like Miro for whiteboarding live in the app or Microsoft for wider chat collaboration - we are a Microsoft house and so whilst I can see Slack being useful as an integration for many, it's not one we've used personally. It was very difficult for us to have communication with all the members of the team, due to the transportation costs. Teemyco has helped us not only by improving our communication; now, the whole team participates in all the projects, which makes communication much more fluid. Having the opportunity to see each other on video has allowed for better team collaboration and integration. I've never been disconnected from meetings spontaneously like with many other similar products. Within just a few weeks our Teemyco office has become the virtual home for my team. The interface is easy to handle and self-explanatory and the (video) conference call feature works very well. I think it is a great feedback to know without opening the tab and seeing. I also like being able to see the connection status during the calls. I like the idea of the kitchen, how it invites people for a coffee. But I also had some problems with that. **What do you dislike about Teemyco?** I didn't understand that moving to kitchen was sending people notifications, while I was just using it to let my colleagues know that I am eating in the kithcen in real life, where I am away from the keyboard :) We do had some technical problems but, for me, it's okay. (ex: people were not able to see my avatar inside the room during this morning's standup :)) I also feel like I always forget to close my microphone when someone leaves the room and I'm working on something else. In that case I am left with an open micropone, and alone in the room. I am trying to find a scenario whether I would need to have my mic open when I'm alone in the room. I think slack is doing something with this when someone lefts the huddle and you are on your own. (just came to my mind :) ) And also when I enter the build mode and click on the plus sign, I see this modal with a cancel button at the top. When I click on it, I see "Are you sure want to cancel room creation?" warning. Then two buttons: cancel / ok? I think there are some problems with the wording here and the position/color can be re considered. After reading that sentence, for canceling room creation, I automatically click on cancel. Which turns out that it's not the action I am trying to do. These are just my interpretations of course and minor things that I can come up in a short amount of time. I hope it is helpful. However, after using it for more than a week now, I really appreciate that we interact with each other much more while working from home. Instead of having a stand-up in the morning and then having everyone working in silos until the next sync meeting, it's much easier to quickly check in with everyone in one of the digital co-working spaces, just as in a physical office. This has increased our productivity a lot, especially in product development, since "silo-working" often meant getting stuck at problems that could quickly be resolved by chatting with a colleague. Great features: * Quick and easy to start a meeting, just jump into the same digital room * Sharing screen simultaneously * Video call on the native client is performant, especially in comparison to Google Meet * The "kitchen", a space for chit-chatting **What do you dislike about Teemyco?** In the macOS client, I would've wanted pop-up notifications whenever someone invites me to a room. The current notification, the app icon jumping in the dock, is easy to miss when working with multiple screens. I would also like to have an "idle" feature, sometimes I might enter a common workspace but leave the computer for a while which confuses others in the same room. Finally, since the program is always running in the background, I occasionally get the uneasy feeling that my mic is turned on unknowingly.
