**What do you like best about Technologychecker.io?**

What I like most is how specific the targeting gets. For our sales team at UserGuiding, knowing exactly which tools a prospect is using on their site really changes how we approach outreach. 

Instead of sending the same pitch to everyone, we can open with something relevant to their actual stack. Big plus for us is that verified contact emails come included in the Pro plan, because with most of the alternatives you either pay seperately for contacts or you pay 4-5x more to get them bundled. 

Coverage is also wider than Wappalyzer, specially for backend tools like n8n, Airtable or databases that the other tools cant see from the frontend. The adoption and churn alerts are useful too, when we want to catch a company at the moment they are switching from one tool to another.

**What do you dislike about Technologychecker.io?**

Honestly the main thing is that its still a young product, was founded in 2025 if I remember correct, so some things feel not fully polished yet. 

For example when we tried to plug it into our outbound stack, we saw that the native integrations are mostly for the big CRMs like HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive. If you are using Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo or Clay (like us), you need to push the data through API or CSV which works fine but its one extra step in the workflow. 

Also couple of the docs pages returned 404 when I was checking last week, small thing but still noticable. Would love to see more pre-built integrations with sales engagement platforms, and maybe a native Zapier connector for the smaller automation cases too.

**What problems is Technologychecker.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before TechnologyChecker, our SDR team at UserGuiding was spending too much time building prospect lists manually. We were relying mostly on firmographics from ZoomInfo and LinkedIn filters, which gave us big lists but without any real signal if a company is actually a good fit for a product adoption platform like ours. We tried Wappalyzer before but the detection was limited and we couldnt get contact data bundled with it.

Now we build lists based on the actual tech stack. For example we target companies using certain analytics or onboarding tools we know pair well with our product, and we exclude the ones already on a direct competitor. 

Reply rates went up because the pitch finally matches the prospects real situation, and we saw roughly 40% better conversion on the campaigns where we use technographic filtering compared to our generic ICP lists. The dashboard is also pretty straightforward, our SDRs picked it up in a day without needing a big onboarding session which was nice for us.

**What do you like best about Technologychecker.io?**

The API is straightforward to work with, but the real value is in what you can do with the data. We noticed that Mailchimp users had a strong overlap with our best customers, so we built a pipeline around that signal, filtered by our ICP, detected their popup setups, and ran a targeted outreach campaign. That kind of insight would have taken weeks to pull together manually. The technology detection is accurate enough that we could actually act on it without spending time cleaning or second-guessing the data.

**What do you dislike about Technologychecker.io?**

The platform is still early stage so the documentation could be more detailed in some areas, when we were building our pipeline through the API we had to do a bit of trial and error to get things working the way we wanted. A few more code examples and use case walkthroughs would have saved us some time. Nothing that blocked us, but noticeable when you're moving fast.

**What problems is Technologychecker.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The core problem it solves for us is knowing who to target and why. Before, we were either going broad or relying on gut feeling about which companies would be a good fit for Popupsmart. Now we can identify technology patterns in our existing customer base and build outbound pipelines around those signals. In our case that meant finding Mailchimp users who matched our ICP, which gave us a highly qualified list to work with. The benefit is pretty direct, better targeting means better campaign performance and less wasted effort on accounts that were never going to convert.

What I like best about TechnologyChecker.io is the combination of technology intelligence, company data, and people data in a single platform. The way it connects technology usage patterns with verified company and contact information makes it much easier to build highly targeted prospect lists and execute more effective GTM campaigns.

**What do you dislike about Technologychecker.io?**

One downside is that support response times can be slow at times. Since I’m based in the UK, waiting 12+ hours for a reply can make it difficult to resolve issues quickly during my workday.

The biggest benefit for us is being able to build highly targeted lead lists based on real technology usage and buying signals. The subscriber and churn tracking also helps us identify companies that are actively evaluating new solutions, which makes our outreach much more timely and relevant. Overall, it has improved lead quality, reduced manual research time, and made our outbound campaigns more effective.

just wanted to share, as an SEO consultant at flatart agency, Technologychecker has been a real lifesaver for finding new clients.
I use it to spot companies based on their tech stack and get real-time alerts when they add or drop tools. That timing is perfect for reaching out! The verified contact emails are spot-on too, which saves me so much time.
We've already landed several nice new SEO retainers thanks to it.
Super easy to use and honestly great value. If you're doing outbound or agency work, definitely give it a try!

Honestly, the only thing I dislike is that it’s still pretty new. Almost no reviews or big case studies out there yet, so it felt a tiny bit risky when I first signed up. Everything else (signals, contacts, pricing) has been awesome though!

I used to waste hours hunting for companies that might need help. Checking websites manually, guessing the right person to email, and reaching out at random times was exhausting. Technologychecker makes it so easy! I get real-time alerts when companies add or drop tools (perfect timing for SEO!), plus verified emails of the actual decision-makers.
