## Take Command Reviews
  ### 1. Amateur, Error-Prone, Slow to Respond Customer Service

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kate S.

**What do you like best about Take Command?**

I like that it is a monthly contract, so I'm not locked in for a longer period as the experience is so poor I can easily leave.

**What do you dislike about Take Command?**

The customer service is a complete joke, being completely incompetent, inefficient, and unresponsive, requiring me to involve their executive leadership just to get a response, and often putting the burden back on me to do more work. The entire system is very amateur, clunky, error-prone, and bug-prone. Additionally, it has no integrations with any other tools, and the initial setup was not easy due to the team's slowness and incompetence or the need for too much self-setup work.

**What problems is Take Command solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Take Command doesn't solve any problems for me due to their incompetent customer service.

  ### 2. Overall I would recommend Take Command

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Take Command?**

Take Command is very easy to user friendly for employees. The ability to have auto-pay is one of the biggest reasons we moved to using Take Command. I also love the ability to tier premium reimbursements for the ICHRA based on employees age and location so that the reimbursements amounts are equal among all employees. Implementation process and renewal this year have been easy. I've had some really great customer support interactions and some that have not been very helpful. The renewal process has been smooth for his year but the communication from asking for new classes and uploadng our census was lacking. I had to follow up a few times to make sure we had done everything. A customer success person did finally reach out to set up a call and after that call I felt good about our renewal.

**What do you dislike about Take Command?**

I would like better reporting with Take Command. There reporting options are minimal and I don't feel like i can always easily get the view I am trying to figure see on what an employee has used, what employees are on auto-pay, etc. I've had some really great customer support interactions and some that have not been very helpful.

**What problems is Take Command solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Take Command is allowing us to offer coverage to our employees now that we are considered an ALE, but also allows the flexibitly to choose their own plans without being restricted to one expensive group plan.

  ### 3. Poor Customer Experience, Platform Bugs, Minimal Communication

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Take Command?**

We were referred to TakeCommand by ADP RUN. ADP mentioned them as a partner and I have enjoyed ADP Run and figured they would integrate someday (which they say is the case). So far, their education materials have been helpful and informative, but the platform is lacking significantly.

**What do you dislike about Take Command?**

Platfrom is not fully functional. There are attachements that I select that don't appear. They say they will review our employees benefits quickly to determine eligibility, and they have not done that. They have declined benefits without explanation. But they have their billing down as they charged me quickly for their services and the incorrect amount. Still waiting on a response there.

**What problems is Take Command solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is supposed to make it easy for me to reimburse my employees for eligible healthcare benefits.

  ### 4. Very responsive and informed

**What do you like best about Take Command?**

Very responsive and informed. Very knowledgeable with all questions and available.

**What do you dislike about Take Command?**

I live in AK, so meeting times are early and rough. I'd also prefer a Zoom or Google Meet.

**What problems is Take Command solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Administering our QSEHRA.

  ### 5. Good platform for basic healthcare management, but lacks competitive high-end options.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Take Command?**

Its user friendly-platform, which simplifies managing healthcare benefits and reimburse meant process.

**What do you dislike about Take Command?**

The lack of competitive high-end healthcare options and the difficulty in accessing and comparing plan details upfront, which limits flexibility for employees specific healthcare needs.

**What problems is Take Command solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of managing health benefits for startup businesses by offering ICHRA and QSEHRA solutions, which provide tax-free reimbursements for employees' individual health insurance plans. This benefits us by simplifying the administrative process.

**What do you like best about Take Command?**

Our enrollment specialist was a rockstart. Got us onboarding and rolling fairly quickly. The dashboard is easy to navigate and makes administering health benefits easy!

**What do you dislike about Take Command?**

The reimbursement process was a little confusing at first, but support helped us figure it out.

**What problems is Take Command solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They make it easy to administer Health Benefits for our small organization which adds a lot of value to our company being able to offer health benefits.

  ### 7. Flexible and Easy to Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Take Command?**

TakeCommand gives us the flexibility to offer our employees a competitive healthcare plan.

**What do you dislike about Take Command?**

Cost. In 2021 it was $30 for our 2 employees, now it's $80 for 2 employees.

**What problems is Take Command solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Enables us to offer health insurance benefit without offering a health plan. This is more flexible because our employees are in different states.

  ### 8. Great user experience, customer support team

The continued education piece of Take Command is the best part. Alongside the ease of onboarding, use of the platform and the customer support, it makes Take Command stand out among the crowd.

**What do you dislike about Take Command?**

There are no cons at this time related to its service for our business.

**What problems is Take Command solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simplification and documentation of benefits reimbursement.

**What do you like best about Take Command?**

They very helpful at first to get you signed up but then, you cannot get in touch with them when you need them.

**What do you dislike about Take Command?**

They will not answer emails or the phone. i applied for insurance in December 2023. Their site said it was approved but the insurance company has no record of it. Take Command will not answer my calls or emails in spite of repeated attemps.

**What problems is Take Command solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None

**What do you dislike about Take Command?**

Their product is confusing and they do not offer any support when you have issues. Many members of my team are not being reinbursed becase they are not able to figure out how to provide the right documents.

**What problems is Take Command solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Healthy Reinbursement

  ### 11. Highly Recommend

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Take Command?**

The platform's simplicity stands out, making benefits management straightforward. It's user-friendly from onboarding to benefits administration. Our rep Matt has been consistently helpful and responsive. Importantly, we've received no complaints from employees and the flexibility they have to choose the plan that fits their needs best is great. Take Command HRA has streamlined our HR processes, allowing us to prioritize our workforce effectively. I strongly recommend.

**What do you dislike about Take Command?**

Honestly nothing really comes to mind but for if I have to pick something, there are certain scenarios where employees will connect with the general support for guidance but then be referred to contact the employer over something we actually have limited to no visibility over. That's when we would connect with our rep and he would be amazing at getting the issue sorted, but ideally the general support would be able to get the issue resolved themselves (I have noticed this happening less in the last few months).

**What problems is Take Command solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted an HRA platform for our employees instead of only offering 1 plan option that might not cover everyone's needs. We have found their wide variety has been great.
