"All in One Experience"

What do you like best about Syniti Knowledge Platform?

As far as I have seen, compared to OCUM or OSCM, this has been one of my favorite. The Active IQ is so far all round solution for any query regarding to a volume. The latency, IOPS and so many other things really make this easier one to use, easiest of all in debugging. And since this has been enabled in mobile application also which made this even more easier to manage and use the interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Syniti Knowledge Platform?

If the interface was the mixture of Active IQ ans OCUM, it would be a better fit when we are using these to manage our storage. Other than that, this is really a good application to go for. And the amount which has been charged, if it's made less, then it would be a better option to gor for since hitachi and ecs are providing services in low amount. What problems is Syniti Knowledge Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?

We always have the latency and IOPS problem due to the longest queries which has been making us struggle a lot when it comes to the storage management. And since the volumes are really large in our environment and thousands of it are still pouring, the vserver and other settings are easier and faster to find out in AIQ compared to OCUM. What do you like best about Syniti Knowledge Platform?

Having used this for almost 6 years now I like what I have seen in the maturing of the UI to what is now a fairly snappy, intuitive product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Syniti Knowledge Platform?

Not necessarily a dislike of OnCommand per se but I do dislike that you have to still use different flavors of this tool to get a holistic view of every aspect of your NetApp - System Manager, Performance Manager, Unified Manager etc Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Syniti Knowledge Platform:

As I mentioned earlier in this review, I like what I have seen with the development of the UI but I do feel that NetApp need to focus on truly unifying all of their disparate tools in to a single application - this is the way the best operators in both SAN and other platforms are heading Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Syniti Knowledge Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?

As a company using a third party to manage our SAN, OnCommand is very necessary to give use even read-only access to what our SAN looks like and to allow us the insights we need for our capacity management and projections Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
