## About Symantec Advanced Authentication
CA Risk Authentication is a powerful risk-based, adaptive authentication solution that works in real time to evaluate context, calculate a risk score, recommend actions and provide alerts/case management. It has a strong set of prebuilt rules to detect risk and an easy-to-use risk management console to adjust parameters or create new rules. The risk engine examines many factors including device identification, geolocation, IP address and user activity to evaluate risk. The calculated risk score is then fed into your policies to decide whether to authorize the current activity, request step-up authentication and/or send an alert or block the activity. This provides your organization with a transparent layer of protection against identity theft, data breaches and fraud.

1. It provides secure, user convenient and cost effective way to protect mobile and web based applications.
2. It improves security for online transactions.
3.It deploy and manage a wide range of multi factor authentication like JBA and two factor software tojens and many more.
4. It supports Cryptographic camouflage which is a patented key concealment technology usex to protect unique auth ID and mobile OTP credentials.
5. Frictionless accesss and authentication.
6.Superios user experience

**What do you dislike about Symantec Advanced Authentication?**

1. Due to high resources consuption it is slow down the performance.
2. Initial configuration is reported difficult at times.

**What problems is Symantec Advanced Authentication solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BEing having its robust security features it is providing the security for the two factor authenticaton for my client DOD connection.
