## Stytch Reviews
  ### 1. Great product, unbelievably great support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elisabeth B. | CTO, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Stytch?**

Finding Stytch after struggling to understand how to integrate with Okta or other needlessly complex products felt like finding an island of sanity in an ocean of insanity. From the very first look at the docs, we were convinced this was the KIND of thing we'd been looking for.

When it came to trying it out and ultimately making the bet on Stytch, we were not disappointed. The coherent APIs and easy-to-understand docs are great. The access to support, advice and help from the Stytch team is amazing.

**What do you dislike about Stytch?**

I'm having a hard time thinking of anything about the product I truly dislike. Here are some lukewarm exceptions to our enthusiasm:

* The custom email templating is adequate but not great.
* Access to various a-la-carte features is hard to figure out from the website (but the team is always ready to talk/explain)

**What problems is Stytch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stytch has given us a way forward to swap out a weak, inflexible, home-grown authentication system incrementally. Digging out of a tech debt hole while keeping our service running in production was a tall order, but Stytch has given us a way to move things over piece by piece, while giving us a clear path forward for new features and integrations. There was no way we could have built 2FA or SSO on top of our old codebase but our future growth demanded it. Stytch made it easy for us to start with a lazy migration to password-based authentication, and that opened a whole new universe of modern auth options up for us. Once we'd moved to Stytch, things like adding an M2M option for our new API offering became ridiculously easy.

  ### 2. Excellent auth product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alice D. | Director of Product, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Stytch?**

We're a small team working to build an ambitious product. Relying on Stytch for authentication lets us spend less time on features that are essential to get right but won't differentiate our product so we can focus most of our time and energy on the core product offerings that our users request.

Integrating to Stytch for login and authentication was a great process. Not once but twice, we really lucked out when they shipped a new feature right when we needed it (custom email templates, M2M authentication).

Overall, they've been a dream to work with. Their team is so responsive, quick, and helpful when it comes to answer questions and getting you back on track.

**What do you dislike about Stytch?**

I don't have a lot to say here. As I mentioned, there were a couple features we wanted but our needs lined up with their roadmap perfectly and they were awesome about giving us access to what we needed.

**What problems is Stytch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stytch is handling login and user authentication for our web app.

  ### 3. Wish I had used this sooner

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Stytch?**

* Would have been exceedingly simple to use if we had built our product with Stytch from the beginning.
* We've had an exceedingly responsive point of contact throughtout the migration process. They've been able to both help us out with implementation questions and advocate for small feature requests we've had along the way.
* Migrating to Stytch has some challenges, but seems significantly simpler than migrating to other auth providers. API approach has allowed us to gradually implement Stytch functionality into our existing systems without negative user impact. Most of our difficulties arise from migrating from a homegrown solution to Stytch. Assumptions have varied in ways that have caused some friction. None of these were signficant blockers and any many cases Stytch was able to add in new functionality to ease the transition.

**What do you dislike about Stytch?**

* Some lack of flexibility compared to a homegrown solution, but this is more than made up for in other ways.

**What problems is Stytch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stytch has helped us replace our legacy password authentication system and we are currently building out mutliple forms of passwordless authentication

  ### 4. Developer Friendly, Frictionless Auth Provider

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve F. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Stytch?**

Stytch has taken the hard part out of our authentication process by centralizing the way we think about user identification and how we apply that to our software products. The inclusion of SMS and onetime/magic links allows us to move forward with a password less future which is core to the future that we have and need. Love the concept and tooling and gives us the flexibility to operate they we need to. Plus they have a great support team that is responsive and easy to get in touch with.

**What do you dislike about Stytch?**

Only main downside to using Stytch so far has been trying to integrate stych into our legacy identity provider. It is a future focused product, so integrating into a legacy software means taking a hard look at what you've done to make identity work as opposed to how easy it should have been. That has nothing to do with Stytch but more to do with how software products evolve over time. The more standard your implementation, the easier it is to integrate.

**What problems is Stytch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Stytch to reduce the friction of our users in our system. Passwords and keeping track of passwords is a challenge for our base and we want to make it so easy to authenticate/authorize that our it isn't even a thought anymore. Stych gives us to the tools to do that and safely expand the idea of individual identification so we can rethink how we authorize.

  ### 5. An excellent full-featured identity platform built for developers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew B. | VP of Engineering, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Stytch?**

My team worked with Stytch to complete a large-scale identity platform migration. These migrations often present challenges, however, with Stytch, the process was remarkably smooth. Their customer success team worked closely with us from the planning phase to the technical implementation, testing, migration, and launch, ensuring an easy transition.

On top of this, we implemented several new features, such as Google OneTap and Email Magic Links, with minimal effort. Both have resulted in a significant reduction in user friction and had a positive impact on overall user engagement.

Integrating Stytch with our stack's touchpoints was incredibly straightforward. The provided libraries and code examples are full-featured and comprehensive. Also, the Stytch platform includes a built-in test environment and the ability to promote configurations from test to live with one click. This made transitioning from test to production incredibly easy.

Overall, I am impressed by the capabilities and features of the platform, which has clearly been designed with developers in mind. On top of this, the customer success team is exceptional, and I would not hesitate to recommend Stytch to anyone looking for a new identity platform.

**What do you dislike about Stytch?**

Overall, the product is excellent. The lack of log streams meant we had to rethink data collection, but using custom logging to overcome this was relatively straightforward.

**What problems is Stytch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stytch handles authentication and identity across our two most popular web properties, allowing readers to register and sign in using a password, email magic link, and Google OAuth.

  ### 6. Bulletproof auth that's easy and scalable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 26, 2023

**What do you like best about Stytch?**

My team migrated an app from our proprietary auth mechanism onto Stytch. The Stytch team supported us in building our implementation for both a B2C and B2B mixed solution, which is already pretty complicated. Where Stytch is unique is in their ability to simultaneously support B2C and B2B auth solutions and distinguish between the two of them. We have been using Stytch for a few months now, and the developer experience and administrative platform have made it easy to make changes to our application, debug problems with the event log, and get in touch with the customer support team.

**What do you dislike about Stytch?**

Be aware of what languages Stytch supports for their client facing libraries. This was not an issue for us in terms of languages, but make sure that the language that you are writing backends/services in is compatible with one of the Stytch libraries, lest you need to interact with their API manually.

**What problems is Stytch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

* Scalable SSO for large B2B clients
* Industry standard and superior auth for B2C and B2B clients
* Two factor authenticatio for B2C users

  ### 7. Stytch - unrivaled ease of integration/implementation and exceptional customer support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Stytch?**

When our previous authentication provider unexpectedly increased their prices as soon as we gained traction, Stytch came to the rescue. Not only is their pricing significantly better, but the level of 1-on-1 support we received throughout the migration process truly made us feel like valued customers (not that we even needed it really - the simplicity of their API made integration/implementation a breeze). It's rare to feel passionately about an authentication provider, but I couldn't recommend Stytch highly enough. I sing their praises to every developer I talk to.

**What do you dislike about Stytch?**

If I have to come up with an area of improvement, I guess I would say: less comprehensive documentation (understandable for a startup/less-established company). However, this is easily made up for by their API's ease of use and the extremely dedicated support they provide.

**What problems is Stytch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stytch handles all of our user authentication, both before and after they sign up for an account. They provide all of the standard auth features that help us manage user access to our applications but they're also ahead of the curve with features like passwordless/magic links and digital fingerprinting (identifying site visitors without accounts through properties such as their browser, device, etc.).

  ### 8. The best auth product I've used to date.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steph P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Stytch?**

Stytch promises a lot in terms of flexibility and ease of use, and time after time they deliver.

They are truly a developer first platform, with a support team that goes unrivaled. Auth can get complicated, and has so much surface area, and the team behind Stytch has deep domain knowledge that makes them a pleasure to work and integrate with.

The initial set up was incredibly smooth and easy to get to market. Their test vs. live environments gave me confidence when I was ready to go to production. Adding new integrations is almost as easy as flipping a few switches. It's rare to find something that so often feels like it "just works".

My team is using Stytch for auth across four different platforms and with several options for how a user might want to register or login. As a developer at a small company (and one who has serially implemented auth solutions at start ups throughout my career) I can confidentally say this is one of the most promising and delightful products I've had the pleasure of using!

**What do you dislike about Stytch?**

Stytch is still relatiely new to market. There are growing pains and improvements to be made as this product matures. The dashboard is easy to use and intuitive, but some of the features still have room for growth.

That said, any time I have had even a hint of an problem, the support team has been so responsive, helpful, and available to fill gaps that I can't even really say anything negative at all.

**What problems is Stytch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stytch makes integrating multiple auth solutions incredibly intuitive. The suite of solutions is allowing me to rapidly develop and integrate various login modalities such as social, magic link, and password into a new product. My requirements are changing all the time, and Stytch makes that as eawsy as possible to deal with. They take the burden of the security side of things and allow me to think more deeply about what my product is doing.

  ### 9. An identity management platform that is well documented, fully featured, and cost effective

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Stytch?**

Stytch has clear and helpful documentation. They provide an good set of comparison and migration docs as well. In addition, their team is available via slack and other methods to help you with implementations. The product is simple to implement and has all the features we want that are available at reasonable price points.

**What do you dislike about Stytch?**

Stytch lacks a few admin and back office screens. This can be easily overcome with admin portal tools that you need to build.

**What problems is Stytch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Internally and externally the applications that we build need identity and access management. Stytch makes it easy for us to spin up new projects and recommend them to clients.

  ### 10. Super intuitive auth integration with future proof features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samridh S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Stytch?**

Compared to most integrations, Stytch has super developer-friendly documentation that worked on our first go! Additionally, it's pricing is reasonable, was easy to integrate, and user interface makes managing auth less of a hassle.

**What do you dislike about Stytch?**

We're yet to set this up but we'll need to audit roles for security & compliance. I am unsure how extensive this is within Stytch but in our initial set up, didn't see any mention of this.

**What problems is Stytch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Stytch, we do not need to build & manage our own Auth providers, especially given our multi-cloud, multi-environment set up. Additionally, Stytch gives us MFA which is critical for the security of our customers.

  ### 11. A mature product with startup hustle

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Online Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Stytch?**

Stytch was very quick to implement and has had an immediate impact on our product. The authentication flow is fast — OTP emails are delivered in seconds, significantly faster than our previous provider — and the benefits are self-evident in our improved conversion metrics since migrating to Stytch.

The Stytch team is top-notch and has been a valuable partner from the start. Questions are answered promptly, and the team delivers quickly on feature requests and improvements. They've been a joy to work with.

Pricing is also extremely reasonable and growth-friendly. We're confident we've made the right choice by moving to Stytch.

**What do you dislike about Stytch?**

Really don't have much negative to say. While integrating, we came across a couple features that weren't fully detailed in the documentation, but the team was very quick to address our questions and amend the docs.

**What problems is Stytch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stytch enables us to implement best-in-class user authentication without devoting significant time and resources. User authentication is a sensitive, complex domain, and Stytch takes care of the underlying implementation, reliability, security, and other aspects that would require significant investment to build and maintain in-house.

  ### 12. Excellent service for those who constantly forget passwords

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ira K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2023

**What do you like best about Stytch?**

Magic links - one tool for sign-in and sign-up and passwordless logic. As the users, our dev team loves this feature.

Fair pricing.

A lot of updates from Stych dev team and constant product support.

Great customer support.

**What do you dislike about Stytch?**

When we implemented Stytch, there was no possibility of deleting our test users in 1 click. So, we needed to clean manually all of our test users

**What problems is Stytch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Users of our platform have no need to remember passwords and the dev team didn't implement "reset password" logic.

  ### 13. Awesome developer experience and with great support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Stytch?**

Stytch's API documentation is complete and easy to reason about, the examples by language (like Ruby for example) use the syntax for the available library, instead of just generic HTTP requests/responses objects. That makes it very easy to use and integrate into an existing authentication workflow.

**What do you dislike about Stytch?**

To reason about some patterns, like using JWTs and session tokens in order to refresh a user's session is not so clear when you first start using Stytch.

**What problems is Stytch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By replacing most of our custom-made authentication codebase with Stytch, we're adding extra layers of security into the whole process. Besides that, we'll have improved bot detection, and reduced user login issues, like resetting passwords, setting up 2FA, etc. We also expect to see a reduced ability of external attacks due to Stytch's built-in protection tools.

  ### 14. Excellent modern, developer-first authentication service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Stytch?**

You can tell Stytch was crafted by people who have thought about this problem deeply and attacked it from a fresh perspective and codebase leveraging everything they learned the first 10 times they did it. The SDK / interface is simple and clear, and encapsulates best practices without a thought. It was easy to get going, and they have transparent and fair pricing for us we scale. They also have excellent support via Slack.

**What do you dislike about Stytch?**

Some of their platform is less configurable than I'd ideally like - they tend to make strong security decisions for you and not allow you to loosen them, even if it may make business sense for your application.

**What problems is Stytch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not having to reinvent the wheel and build this ourselves, or pay for an alternative solution that is overcomplicated and too expensive.

  ### 15. Staff Engineer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juan d. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Stytch?**

Straight forward API that is easy to use from day one. We did not need to spend lots of time learning how to use it.
Stytch is fully featured and we were able to accomplish all we needed to do. We went seemlessly from prototype to production level code in a few weeks. The integration is easy and very intuitive. It's probably one of the most successful and easy inplemntations I have worked on.
Documentation is very accessible
Stytch support is increadibly helpful and timely.

**What do you dislike about Stytch?**

I have to reach deep to find things I dislike. From an engineer's point of view, Stytch does what it says it does and it does it well

**What problems is Stytch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use stytch to manage our customer identity.

  ### 16. Product works, service is great

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Noel M. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2022

**What do you like best about Stytch?**

Fastest solution to market. Very thorough and took me a couple of days to fully integrate. If anything goes wrong, the team helps out quickly. Custom use cases/problems are addressed quickly.

**What do you dislike about Stytch?**

Some new products didn't work as expected. Growing company. Support is very responsive though.

**What problems is Stytch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simple black box for users, integrating SSO as well as passwordless options. This has taken a week for each SSO provider in the past to set up.

  ### 17. Flexible and transparent authentication platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Stytch?**

Stytch provides an interface to authentication that balances customization and out-of-the-box features well. The APIs provided are transparent and the documentation is of high quality relative to other vendors. Their developer relations team provides fast responses to feedback on the APIs and documentation, resolving errors quickly when reported.

**What do you dislike about Stytch?**

Some of the assumptions about how partners would use their APIs will push you to build a custom solution to a feature that you would expect them to have built into their APs. This didn't happen often, but a few times during our integration. They're receptive to feedback on these use cases and appear to consider adding them into their roadmaps.

**What problems is Stytch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stytch is providing a reliable and featureful API for user authentication and is allowing our team to benefit from their platform which allows them to focus on our core product.

  ### 18. Easy to integrate & big fraud preventer (Stytch DFP)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Stytch?**

It's really easy to integrate into our product, and has accurate results

**What do you dislike about Stytch?**

There's a lot of information to digest, but perhaps out side of the scope of stytch it's not always certain what the right action for us to do (step up, vs reject, vs approve..)

**What problems is Stytch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Detect when onboarding users are bots or fraud rings

  ### 19. Easy & reliable for B2B use-cases!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kshitij G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Stytch?**

Stytch was very easy to setup and implement in our experience - we were able to switch from our existing Auth0 implementation. The control plane is very easy to understand, and the SDKs offer a best in class developer experience. From day 1, we had fantastic customer support from the Stytch team in the community Slack channels.

**What do you dislike about Stytch?**

No downsides for our use case, and we're looking forward to the continued development in the B2B product!

**What problems is Stytch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping us implement login, SSO, SAML, and session management

  ### 20. Works really well, great docs just needs more customization.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dakoda R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Stytch?**

I really appreciate how easy it is to get started with Stytch. The documentation is clear and well-organized, and the API and SDKs are straightforward to implement. I also appreciate the flexibility of the platform, which allows me to customize the authentication and onboarding experiences to match my brand. The range of MFA factors available is also a big plus, as it gives me the ability to offer my users different options depending on their preferences and security needs. Overall, Stytch has made it much easier for me to build secure and user-friendly authentication flows for my applications.

**What do you dislike about Stytch?**

One area where I think Stytch could improve is in the granularity of control it offers over the authentication process. For example, while the platform allows me to customize the branding of the authentication emails and SMS messages, I would like more options for configuring the content and formatting of those messages. Additionally, I think it would be helpful to have more fine-grained control over the user data that is collected and stored by Stytch. Finally, while the pricing for the platform is reasonable, it would be helpful to have more flexibility in terms of the pricing tiers and the ability to purchase features à la carte.

**What problems is Stytch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stytch is solving the problem of identity and access management by providing a comprehensive platform for building secure and user-friendly authentication and onboarding experiences. This is beneficial to me because it saves me time and resources that I would otherwise have to spend building and maintaining my own authentication infrastructure. By using Stytch, I can focus on building my core product and leave the authentication and identity management to the experts. Additionally, the flexibility of the platform allows me to tailor the authentication experience to the needs and preferences of my users, which can help increase engagement and conversion rates. Overall, Stytch is helping me build a better product by providing a secure and customizable authentication solution that enhances the user experience.

  ### 21. Password-less and easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ian W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Stytch?**

Super easy to set up and love the demo apps that just worked. Made is super easy for our startup to get going and create a robust login and auth management system. When I had an issue, I was able to get a same day response from their team on their dev forums

**What do you dislike about Stytch?**

There are still some areas that haven't been totally documented yet. For example, we were trying to figure out how to pass the cookie through sub domains. Luckily the forum answered it for us and next day there was inline documentation!

**What problems is Stytch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to get it to be a single sign on solution across our sub domains without needing to pay for something like auth0. The ability to get set up quickly and free was essential for our bootstrapped startup

  ### 22. Stytch SSO

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Stytch?**

They helped us offer SSO to our Enterprise customers with ease. They were very helpful in the onboarding and technical phases of the implementation. We're glad to use them as an identity provider.

**What do you dislike about Stytch?**

None. There haven't been any issues so far.

**What problems is Stytch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They're helping us with our SSO offering.

  ### 23. Pretty Flexible Authentication Platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Avery L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Stytch?**

I liked that everything was able to be used with APIs and the APIs were pretty well documented.
Because our use case was specific in that we couldn't load arbitrary code, we were able to use the API based approach whereas most SDK approaches would load arbitrary code.

**What do you dislike about Stytch?**

Initially it wasn't the easiest to understand why the live oauth wasn't working with the redirects. It turned out that it just had to be redone and waiting for DNS propagation

**What problems is Stytch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's making it easier to get authentication quickly implemented in our product. We didn't want to spend too much time building our own in house authentication system.

  ### 24. Easy, Affordable Authentication Solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Liam C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Stytch?**

Stytch is an easy-to-use and affordable. The features offered fit my use case exactly. Overall, Stytch is an excellent authentication solution that offers great value for my organization.

**What do you dislike about Stytch?**

Some features require an additional monthly fee that was too expensive for my use case, and I felt that those features were small enough that they should be included or for a much smaller monthly fee rather than bundled with other higher value features.

**What problems is Stytch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a very easy way to incorporate customer authentication into our customer facing portal. Stytch was very easy to implement in a very short time frame.

  ### 25. Hands down the best auth solution on the market

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Troy S. | Founder & CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Stytch?**

As I was building out the MVP for Versify, I must have tried every authentication solution on the market, with Stytch being the most effortless and seamless implementation. It contained all the functionality we needed and took less than an hour to get up and running. Besides ease of implementation, I really like their integration with web3 wallet providers, such as Metamask and Coinbase Wallet. In addition, their customer support is exceptional. During implementation, I had a question answered directly in their public slack channel within 10 minutes.

**What do you dislike about Stytch?**

There is nothing specific that I can think of off the top of my head.

**What problems is Stytch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I was building out my company's MVP (www.versifylabs.com), I needed an auth solution that allowed users to log in via familiar social logins (Google, Facebook, Slack, etc.) and web3 wallets like Metamask and Coinbase Wallet. Stytch was the only solution that provided this out of the box.

  ### 26. Easy to implement & flexible

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mayhul A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Stytch?**

Very simple to implement. Lots of flexibility for different authentication options. Great support.

**What do you dislike about Stytch?**

The most significant piece missing from Stytch is more visibility into errors when an email fails to send correctly.

**What problems is Stytch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We support many different authentication methods across desktop & mobile. Stytch enables us to provide a seamless login experience for our users.

  ### 27. Stytch saved us time building our login/auth

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexandru R. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Stytch?**

It's easy to use the API. The API works well and has never had noticeable downtime. The login box in JS saved us time. I'm happy they have a discounted plan for startups.

**What do you dislike about Stytch?**

The docs are sometimes confusing, e.g. when I implemented the client-side login with React, it was unclear that I had to send the token back manually — the JS lib did not handle that.

**What problems is Stytch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Passwordless auth using email, session management, user management, and integration with oauth third parties such as Google.

  ### 28. Great support, great docs, great api design, not so great feature set

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Stytch?**

Slack channel provides fantastic support. The documentation is when clear, concise, and well-organized. Both the JavaScript backend API and React SDK are intuitively designed and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Stytch?**

Functionality support and API scope can be limiting, and overall is more opinionated than I'd like. For example, the frontend SDK can only be used with cookies, which isn't ideal in an Electron environment.

**What problems is Stytch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Stytch for user managment and authentication in both our website and Electron app.

  ### 29. Easy to implement, great to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Stytch?**

It's so easy to create custom solutions for however you want to construct your auth system. The Stytch team also ships products really quickly, so if there isn't something you need, it might be there soon enough.

**What do you dislike about Stytch?**

Initial pricing almost deterred us, but they have been VERY accommodating, so really no qualms here yet.

**What problems is Stytch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We switched away from Auth0 to Stytch. We want to develop a modern flexible authentication architecture. It was almost impossible with Auth0 to support multiple passwordless log-in experiences.

  ### 30. Up & Running in less than a day - amazing customer service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristofor E. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Stytch?**

The Stytch platform is easy to use, their API documentation is best in class, and the provided sdk & libraries in your language make implementation even easier.

**What do you dislike about Stytch?**

It's really impossible to think of anything we dislike about Stytch. We compared Stytch to several other solutions, including doing it ourselves, and they came out on top without a doubt.

**What problems is Stytch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a way of authenticating users in our customer e-commerce checkout flow, our end customers are almost always on mobile and are used to SMS so the amount of password-less options Stytch provided out of the box was perfect for us. Mainly, the ability to add Stytch to our checkout flow in a frictionless way was key as we did not want to decrease the conversion rate of checkout.

  ### 31. Fast to switch and reliable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mila B. | CEO & Tech Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Stytch?**

Stych's customer service is excellent. They really take the time to understand your business needs. It was fast to switch and we have found the auth to be more reliable. Love the constant innovation in offerings too.

**What do you dislike about Stytch?**

It's both a bonus and a dislike - new offerings mean we keep revisiting auth!

**What problems is Stytch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We don't want to have to think about the complexities of global SMS and we appreciate the user-centric approach.

  ### 32. Best auth solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel W. | C, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Stytch?**

Super easy to implement and use. We originally picked Stytch because our users really value passwordless login and it got us that extremely quickly and easily.

**What do you dislike about Stytch?**

The docs are vague on things like service-to-service auth, expected latency, and best practices. That has however consistently been improving.

**What problems is Stytch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed an auth solution that was easy to implement and supported passwordless logins. Stych accomplishes this no problem.

  ### 33. Best authentication service on the market

**What do you like best about Stytch?**

Super developer-friendly, has excellent documentation and is entirely white-labeled. I've tried other options, and nothing beats it. Wish Stytch existed earlier.

**What do you dislike about Stytch?**

More options for customizable emails for passwrodless auth

**What problems is Stytch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Authentication that's simple to setup and reliable

  ### 34. Super easy, plug and play auth!

**What do you like best about Stytch?**

With Stytch we don't have to deal with the headache that is authorization and login. Our devs are really happy with it. They're great people and are super responsive.

**What do you dislike about Stytch?**

We'd like more personalization in the email communications with our users. Other than that, no complaints!

**What problems is Stytch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fast authorization, no need to build it.

  ### 35. Extremely efficient solution for user sign ups

Stytch makes it so easy for my users to sign up without going through the hassle creating a username and password. Plus their customer support is top notch!

**What do you dislike about Stytch?**

Honestly haven't experienced any issues with it

**What problems is Stytch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They create an extremely fast and efficient method for users to sign into my app securely

  ### 36. Spend less time on auth, more time on your product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brandon S. | Engineering Lead

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Stytch?**

Stytch is so easy to use, we were up and running in a day using the Magic Link auth method, allow us to spend less time iterating on auth.

**What do you dislike about Stytch?**

At this time, Stytch has no support for RBAC

**What problems is Stytch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Passwordless authentication and Crypto wallet authentication improve our user experience, and drive direct product alignment.

  ### 37. Incredible product. Better customer support.

**Reviewed by:** Alex A. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Stytch?**

Such a useful product. What brought me to leave a review was how quickly they turned around a minor bug and followed up saying it had been squashed!

**What do you dislike about Stytch?**

Nothing comes to mind. Will be curious to see what others say.

**What problems is Stytch solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Authentication.
