What is Strategy One (formerly MicroStrategy ONE), and what problem is it built to solve?

Strategy One (formerly MicroStrategy ONE) is a business intelligence and analytics platform for turning organizational data into useful information. It focuses on data analysis, visualization, reporting, and mobile intelligence, including interactive dashboards and detailed reports that support data-driven decisions.

What languages does Strategy One (formerly MicroStrategy ONE) support?

Strategy One (formerly MicroStrategy ONE) supports 9 languages, including Chinese (Simplified), English, French, German, Italian, and others.

What company sizes and industries is Strategy One (formerly MicroStrategy ONE) the best fit for?

Strategy One (formerly MicroStrategy ONE) has a strong fit among enterprise users, with mid-market organizations also well represented. Positive user experience spans several industries, particularly retail, financial services, healthcare, and information technology.
  • Company size: Enterprise organizations are most prominent, with mid-market and small-business users also represented.
  • Industries: Retail, financial services, healthcare, and information technology are among the more represented sectors.

How long does it take to implement Strategy One (formerly MicroStrategy ONE) across a team?

Implementation timelines vary with the environment and the work involved, but the most common reported time to go live is 3–6 months. Shorter implementations also occur, while complex deployments can take longer.
Time to go live Relative frequency
3–6 months Most common
1–3 months Also reported regularly
Less than 1 month Reported
6–12 months Reported
More than 12 months Reported less often

What customer support options does Strategy One (formerly MicroStrategy ONE) provide, and how do users find the overall support experience?

Support is available through direct contact and self-service help, including phone, chat, and knowledge resources; live-representative support is available 24/7. The experience can be very helpful, particularly for implementation, though users also describe inconsistent responsiveness and resolution quality.

What is the experience like for teams switching to Strategy One (formerly MicroStrategy ONE) from another tool?

Switching from legacy BI and reporting tools—including products such as SAP BusinessObjects, IBM Cognos, Power BI, and Domo—has often been driven by a need for broader functionality, governed data, and more self-service reporting. The move can feel smooth, but establishing the data model and backend may take planning and technical effort; users value the centralized reporting and shared semantic layer once in place.

What features or capabilities could make Strategy One (formerly MicroStrategy ONE) even more useful?

Strategy One (formerly MicroStrategy ONE) could be more useful with continued refinement to its visual and reporting experience. Recurring improvement areas include:
  • Richer visualizations: Expand and modernize chart options and improve the flexibility of dashboard design.
  • Simpler creation workflows: Make dashboards and dossiers easier to build, and bring tools and features into a more consistent interface.
  • Faster handling of demanding workloads: Improve responsiveness with large datasets and make scaling and data refreshes smoother.

"Strategy World 2025 Review"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Strategy One (formerly MicroStrategy ONE)?

The World conference this year provided key opportunities to get more hands on training/best practices for implementing Strategy at Halperns. There was a couple great presentations and was able to take away a few ideas from them. Getting hands on time with Gareth was one of the biggest successes for us this year. Great guy, very knowledgeable, and always very helpful. Taking the Project Architect Certification was the other big point for going this year as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Strategy One (formerly MicroStrategy ONE)?

I was sent to this conference to learn more about the software and to get more training, not to learn about Bitcoin. I am very glad that the company is doing well, but again I am here to learn about the software. Compared to 2024 in Vegas, this conference pivoted from learning about the software to a sales pitch/investor call. There were hour plus long blocks on multiple days where there was nothing else going on besides Bitcoin. My suggestion is either split up the week into all software the first half then all Bitcoin the next, or vice versa or have two separate conferences entirely. Honestly not really sure if me and my co-worker will go to the next one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1.5/5
What do you like best about Strategy One (formerly MicroStrategy ONE)?

Getting Started is simple and effective. Base packages cover most of reporting needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Strategy One (formerly MicroStrategy ONE)?

Service is slow. Graphs break often and easily. Cannot handle large datasets. Cannot get to data easily from grids. Can’t export graphs are png/jpeg to put into presentations. Takes a lot of tweaking to get to what you actually want. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Strategy One (formerly MicroStrategy ONE)?

Bitcoin. While interesting and fun to learn about it is not my primary reason for attending the conference. 20+ years of coming to this conference and you tell the focus has flipped from BI to BTC Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
