I use this a lot when I want to quickly record something to show someone, and then it's hosted on its own page with my branding. It just looks really good and the player is smooth. I also love the fact that there are viewer analytics (which I don't need but still useful) and you can insert CTAs and your own thumbnail. My absolute favourite feature is when I copy and paste the URL in my Gmail and a very handy gif image of the video is also pasted. So it looks great on email when I send it, which is a really nice attention to detail that I appreciate. Looks very professional **What do you dislike about StoryXpress?** It's a little buggy with the login on the Chrome extension but managed to sort it out. And as my site has its DNS records on Cloudflare, in order to enable CNAME I have to turn on Flexible SSL on Cloudflare. Unfortunately, it was making my other CNAMEs go haywire so I had to do without the CNAME for StoryXpress. It's strange, it used to work. Their edit video feature also doesn't work very well, it takes a long time to update for me. I just record the video all over again. **What problems is StoryXpress solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps me very quickly record troubleshooting and explanation videos for clients and when I'm talking to the customer support of other software. Extremely useful to have as a Chrome extension when I can record at anytime. ### 2. Our support team uses clapboard everyday. And, customer support is simply the best. I also like the ton of integrations they have like MailChimp and Calendly, where my leads automatically get synced up.They even have the father of all integration Zapier, through which I can integrate anything with anything. Offlately, I have also started using their Branding customizations, where in I can simply change the colour of the video editor and the video page and also add an Outro-Intro animation which gives it a premium feel to the videos , something to the level of Netflix & Amazon Prime. The best part, they haven't restricted their features to the videos created through their webcam and screen recorder, all of their features can also be used for Uploaded Videos as well. On the video recording part, they have good highlighter tools which help in creating, like pen, cursor and highlighter which are good enough to help while focusing viewer's attention on one portion of the screen. I make sure that I do this since while recording a video, I don't have an active feedback mechanism coming up so I never forget to highlight any necessary details in my screen recording. **What do you dislike about StoryXpress?** Nothing till now. They didn't have a Mac app till now but I hear they are working on it. **Recommendations to others considering StoryXpress:** If you are working from home and need something for Remote COmmunication, go for it. If you are a Sales guy pitching a digital product, go for it, it will be worth more than the money you put in here. Videos convert insanely better than Text and Images. If you are a customer support guy, reduce your rework and time wasted in doing the same thing again and again. If you are a freelancer, this is for you. Just take it. Being a small team, you need to automated and talk lesser and work more to maximize your output. You need this If you are a teacher teaching in the post-Covid world, I think it will be worth your money, you can even send your students to the exam page after they finish watching a video. **What problems is StoryXpress solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use StoryXpress for remote communication or use it as a Sales video pitch in emails and put a Call to Action at the end, all the leads from there go directly to Mail Chimp or Meeting Bookings on Calendly. It has honestly helped us eliminate recurring meetings with clients as we are able to create quick explanatory video's. The User Interface is really neat and on point and it seems very seamless to navigate in and out of the dashboard, also making it easy to customize and modify. **What do you dislike about StoryXpress?** The platform had a few bugs when we started using it a few months ago, but on the top of my mind I can't currently think of any particular trouble that we face. Once I have had an issue while recording a 2:30 hours video, it started automatically stop recording it and started to save but the video did not exist... At the same time, the overall platform is really powerful and it allows you to do more than just recording of videos. In addition to recording you can upload and host your videos as well. Below are some of the features which I like the most: -Custom branding feature, where I can customize the video player and the video pages to match my branding. - - Analytics and heat maps are pretty powerful. -I also use Playlist feature a lot to create video playlists to send out to the clients. - Ability to annotate while making my recordings - Call to actions, forms and the Calendly Integration. **What do you dislike about StoryXpress?** There are some minor bugs here and there. We created a faq site and now we record everything and embed the videos. It´s the cheapest and easiest way to give customers an excellent support. In the beginning we had some questions and the support covered everything in a really short time. Now we are starting to use StoryExpress for our marketing and personal messages for estimates. Absolutely great! **What do you dislike about StoryXpress?** The only thing we need is a higher resolution. 720p isn´t enough. But as i heard, it will come soon! With 1080p this will be a no brainer at all. And we need an app very badly. To be able to send message via phone is very important to us. And we need the possibility to be able to track visitors with a pixel on landingpages. And very important: It doesn´t record outside the frame. Everything is easy to set up, self explanatory and very affordable. **What do you dislike about StoryXpress?** The only thing I dislike is not being able to fully hide some of the tools in the video and having it record the start and stop of the video. These show up in the video which is not a huge deal, but would like it if I could access tools off screen to start and stop the video without that being recorded. **Recommendations to others considering StoryXpress:** Thy sky is the limit with this software. It is a lot like Loom but with more features and ways to brand yourself or multiple brands. It can be used for sales, support, development, there is nothing it cannot be used for. It has the majority of the features that Loom offers plus some added bonuses. Also, they've got a bunch of new features that are in development. **What do you dislike about StoryXpress?** I've had some minor glitches here and there, but nothing critical.
