# What are the top SSPR tools that actually cut down helpdesk tickets, not just reset passwords?

<p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Digging through the <a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/self-service-password-reset-sspr-tools">Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR) Tools</a> category on G2 because half our helpdesk volume is lockouts and resets, and I want something that also handles account unlock and MFA enrollment so IT stops getting pinged for the same three things daily. Here's what stood out:</p><ul>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/manageengine-adselfservice-plus/reviews"><strong>ManageEngine ADSelfService Plus</strong></a> — bundles reset, account unlock, and MFA into one AD-native tool; reviewers say ticket volume drops fast, though the UI feels dated.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/portalguard/reviews"><strong>PortalGuard</strong></a> — pairs SSPR with SSO and biometric login, and once configured, users say login issues mostly resolve themselves.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/fastpass-sspr/reviews"><strong>FastPass SSPR</strong></a> — the manager-approval workflow is a hit in compliance-heavy shops, but native reporting gets flagged as thin.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/nim/reviews"><strong>NIM</strong></a> — less about resets alone, more about automating the whole account lifecycle so accounts rarely break to begin with.</li>
</ul><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Anyone replaced their #1 ticket category with one of these? Curious what else people are running.</p>

&lt;p&gt;I’d look beyond reset completion rates and track which ticket types actually disappear after rollout. If account unlocks and MFA enrollment still end up with IT, the tool may only be shifting part of the workload.&lt;/p&gt;
