A central management platform integrates all parts of the digital workspace. The price is great and the transition and implementation is simple and straight forward. **What do you dislike about Squarespace Domains?** There is always some concern about relying on a single connection point for too many services, but it allows easy managment in this case. **What problems is Squarespace Domains solving and how is that benefiting you?** Bringing together our Workspace management (email and docs) with domain registration helps with the managment and prevents having to go to multiple providers for different services. We also had issues with some services (often external Google hosted email) marking our legitemate email as spam. By hosting email and domains on Google, this is no longer an issue. ### 4. I just have this one domain name I've been using, and I try to keep ownership of it, so that's why it is truly worth the yearly fee. I also enjoy the custom email alias as well, I've made an alais and it really makes me look more professional to have my own .com email. **What do you dislike about Squarespace Domains?** Beyond domain name ownership and email alias, it is difficult get website support and find resources for website building tools. I linked my domain to Wix once, and it worked fairly well. I was impressed with the results. However, since making my Wix site offline, searching my Domain name leads to a 404 Wix page. So, I feel lost in how to unlink my domain from Wix, I feel like Googel Domains should provide me some information on how to create my own landing page. If I could pay an additional fee per year, I would love to have my Domain attached to an offial website or blog. That would be well worth the $12 a year fee. **What problems is Squarespace Domains solving and how is that benefiting you?** Google Domains has been tremendous in helping me have my domain name officially registered for over 5 years now. If you want a domain without all the extras, go with Google! Google takes out all the excess and delivers what you only want and really need. They also make it easy to manage the domain once it's registered. Your DNS will propagate instantly, I have yet to experience a DNS that propagates faster than Google Domain DNS. 2. Simple straightforward pricing. 3. Feature-rich dashboard 4. It's 2023 and their service is still not available in some countries I can't wrap my head around the fact that such a big giant is unable to serve some geographic location, very annoying. 2. At times it feels like Google domains just really wants you to work with Google business suite, so if you are there just to buy a domain, be ready for google business suite ads almost everywhere. **What problems is Squarespace Domains solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps me register domains fast and easy and then the DNS propagates right away so I am always able to use the domains instantly. It helps me purchase and use domains for any websites that I build. ### 7. They are simple to use, their pricing is excellent, and they are powered by a giant. DNS changes are quickly reflected as well. One of the large reasons why we switched is due to the ridiculous costs of domain registration privacy offered by many other registrars. Google includes domain privacy by default with the cost of their domains. **What do you dislike about Squarespace Domains?** Google Domains was purchased by a company that I do not trust. I'm extremely displeased with this purchase and have moved to another registrar since then. Our current registrar isn't as "all-in-one," but they're still great. **Recommendations to others considering Squarespace Domains:** Stop considering Google Domains and just do it! I waited too long to switch over my domains. **What problems is Squarespace Domains solving and how is that benefiting you?** Within our school district, we own three domains. With GoDaddy, we pay the cost of all three on Google Domains on a single domain. With Google Domains, it is the SAME COST to own all three domains. At the end of the day, we end up with a service that is more reliable and less gimmicky than GoDaddy was, for less money. We currently use a .com, .org, and .com domain(s) all registered through Google Domains. In the next month or so, we will be experimenting with domain transfers as well -- which we hope goes well. ### 8. It is a free-to-search website and its domain isn't too costly. but when you have a rare website name that is too costly it is worth it. A month ago, I searched for a name for my own website that cost around 10 lacs but that's a premium domain price. and when you buy a new domain you also get Google privacy for a website, their workspace where you can save anything & you add so many email IDs for your employees. you can manage all your processes in one place. ### 9. Simple, effective, linked to my GSuite account. It was a breeze. I got a notification that Google sold the domain management service to Squarespace. It was so sad to hear that, Squarespace is a website builder and has a TERRIBLE UX for managing domains. **What do you dislike about Squarespace Domains?** They sold it to Squarespace. You can't even manage domains on Squarespace.
