Spirion can do a deep PII scan. I also like that the software gives you options on removing personally identifiable information, such as crossing it out, essentially, or shredding the document altogether. **What do you dislike about Spirion?** It's a big ask, but I wish the software could differentiate between certain strings of numbers. For example, if nine digits are next to each other, they are not necessarily social security numbers. **What problems is Spirion solving and how is that benefiting you?** Spirion makes it possible for me to run a PII scan on my servers every year as part of compliance with my company's policies. At a glance, I'm able to see which servers host PII, and I'm able to eradicate the issues in one fell swoop, as opposed to having to search through all of my servers manually. ### 10. The only thing I would suggest would be to update the filter system when reviewing an endpoint that set off an alert. Once you put in the endpoint name, you then have to search and then select. If it finds an exact match, it should populate automatically. **Recommendations to others considering Spirion:** This is a very easy to use software that helps us manage PHI and ensure employees are not storing anything they shouldn't be on their desktop. The GUI is great, streamlined and easy to identify alerts. The ability to customize what alerts come through to identify birthdays, SSNs, provider information is easy to set up as well. **What problems is Spirion solving and how is that benefiting you?** The ability to manage protected information that employees may have saved on their hard drive by accident or temporarily. ### 14.
