My interactions with Spirion have gone smoothly. The reporting features may use some improvement, it is still a useful tool that exactly meets my needs. Spirion is uer friendly and it is easy to build new rules within Spirion. Also, it is very easy to fine tune the existing rules as per our requirements. It is a good tool for data privacy etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best feature I like is the tool capability:

- for automated data discovery across structured and unstructured data sources on cloud, network and end points

- automated data classification capability through data life cycle

I have not had a problem with anything or dislike anything that I have with Spirion Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The software is elegant, resource-friendly and its deployment across Mac and Windows is equally so. The administration console is sensible and easy to navigate, while featuring a rather powerful engine to tailor policies and workflows down to a granular level. I appreciate the capabilities Spirion has around Sharepoint server and database scanning via distributed processing, as well as the hooks the software has into cloud-storage solutions like OneDrive and Dropbox. I like that Spirion searches each file for so many identifying items. Spirion can do a deep PII scan. I also like that the software gives you options on removing personally identifiable information, such as crossing it out, essentially, or shredding the document altogether. It's a big ask, but I wish the software could differentiate between certain strings of numbers. For example, if nine digits are next to each other, they are not necessarily social security numbers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Flexible and powerful reporting that makes it easy to review the results and share those results with other parties. Scheduling of tasks that allows automated scans without much manual intervention.
