"Much improvement needed and too one-sided"
What do you like best about Sourcery?

Sourcery is basically a HARO filter. And, within that narrow field, it does what it should. Namely, filter HARO queries according to keywords, show the DA and other metrics of potential outlets to be pitched. Recently, they added the option to pitch media from within sourcery. If you want to pitch a few selected outlets a year, and be notified of specific keywords that come up in journo requests, this will save you an hour a week going through daily HARO feeds. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sourcery?

The software is too one-sided and simple, imho. Part of pitching qualitatively is building connections to journalists. These I would still have to research outside the software, so maybe add some information on the reporters, or add some other media outlets (like qwoted) to the feed. "Easiest way to earn quality backlinks. Cost effective too!"
What do you like best about Sourcery?

Sourcery is easy to use and as simple as replying to emails. Sourcery provides a framework for progressively getting backlinks by responding to journalists' requests. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sourcery?

Sometimes the text in the summary field is hard to read but honestly, that is just nitpicking. Overall it's a great product at an affordable price. No complaints here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sourcery has great potential but the updates have made it worse"
What do you like best about Sourcery?

It's a very clean user interface and I like the dashboard a lot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sourcery?

Sourcery is a great platform, but I feel that every update has made it progressively worse. The filter for DRs has been removed, various extra columns have been added that don't add much value (e.g. difficulty score) but take up space, I still have to Zoom out to see both the DR and the "Explore" buttons at the same time, the Dofollow/Nofollow tags for each domain aren't correct, and the queries aren't uploaded at the same time which means that I can't sort by DR and time. We're also still unable to pitch from the platform itself, so while Sourcery has great potential the updates haven't improved much. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simplified HARO outreach"
What do you like best about Sourcery?

I like how the DR is available. When wanting to create valuable backlinks to your site knowing the DR upfront helps you achieve that goal, faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sourcery?

The time between the HARO newsletter and when Sourcery has been updated. Although not so bad when I discovered quality pitches trump time sent for high-quality publications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The queries are now very slow to load."
What do you like best about Sourcery?

That the queries are all in one spot, and once they load they are easy to see. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sourcery?

The queries are very slow to load, so workflow is interrupted, and there is no longer a sort by function for DO follow links Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
