So far I love this service. I have been looking for a virtual phone number/forwarding service for some time. I originally used 'skype number' but the issues with that were annoying.

The best things I like about Sonetel is the monthly subscription which gives you a lot of free credit per month for calls. Also it offers SMS! I can't send sms, but I can receive them which is great for receiving SMS codes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Technically the SMS's are sent to your associated email address rather than the Sonetel app, but I don't care. As long as I receive them someway then I'm happy! :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I was trying to verify my own cell number on the Sonetel system and was having a problem receiving Sonetel's verification SMS. I shot an email to their customer support and didn't think too much about it. I was surprised when one of their staff took the time to call me to personally verify my number so I didn't have to do the SMS verification.

I dislike that the number cannot receive mms text messages. Also, customer service can only be reached by email at the moment due to covid. But you can schedule a call back also. Would like to see a chat option available on their website to reach them. I would also like to be able to see a call log for my phone number in real time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
