What do users say?

I use SoMin at Click2View for client research, content planning and general ideation. What I find most useful is being able to look at a brand's social content alongside its competitors, then use the persona features and white-space analysis to find gaps worth going after. It gives us a practical starting point for creative briefs and quarterly business reviews, and helps us explain the thinking behind a recommendation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't really have any issues with SoMin. You need to connect the data connectors, and you need to make sure you have the right profiles. Making sure all the right profiles are one of the harder things, but it's something you'd have to do no matter what and actually made me and our company understand our clients better.
I think the integration with Claude really makes it easy to work with now, and you can really do a lot of work with it. I wouldn't say there's anything I really dislike about the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Competitor monitoring is the standout for me. SOMIN tracks what competitors are doing and turns it into insights I can act on, instead of a pile of raw data. It’s made our marketing decisions far more grounded. We now make calls based on evidence rather than assumptions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The UI could be more intuitive. I’d love a single main dashboard showing all my campaigns alongside competitor activity, so I don’t have to jump between views. Some gamification elements would also make daily use more engaging and help the team build the habit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Its deep integration with the agentic workflow, along with how easy it is to use, really stands out to me. I’d also highlight the system’s impressive performance and the high quality of the data output we’re able to work with. Throughout the entire journey, the support has been outstanding, and their team has been incredibly helpful—even with the smallest details. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At first, the design felt a bit outdated and it wasn’t immediately obvious how to navigate, but the SoMin team has improved it significantly since then, making the product much easier to use and understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
SoMin.ai unlocks a completely new level of social analytics by allowing me and one of my favorite parts is how I can use the tool to tailor the insights I'm generating to a specific audience or niche. It has empowered my team to move beyond presenting research that only looks at the highest level of campaign performance to presenting research that is curated to the people my clients are specifically attempting to target.
Furthermore, it helps me dive deeper into what's working on social by identifying passion and pain points for the audiences I'm interested, and then lets me double click further by applying specific angles to them to link those passion and pains to real psychological or economic triggers.
Overall the platform is powerful and quick, and lets me unlock insights that I am unable to get anywhere else through the rigor with which content is categorized into audiences, and by themes, demographics and much more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only difficulty I have encountered with SoMin.ai is that it is sometimes underutilized by my team as it adds the new elements of content categorization they are not used to having available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a GTM consultancy, we use SoMin.ai primarily for competitive analysis in digital marketing — and it delivers well. What I value most is that the insights are data-backed, not speculative. When I'm building a competitive picture for a client, I need to defend the narrative, and SoMin.ai gives me the evidence to do that. It benchmarks competitor activity effectively — particularly communication patterns and keyword signals — which feeds directly into how we shape positioning and messaging briefs.
The setup was quick (a couple of days) and the team is genuinely responsive. It's become a quiet differentiator for OTL — something we can leverage that most boutique consultancies don't have access to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The UI takes a bit of getting used to. That said, I've integrated it into my existing workflow, so it doesn't slow me down in practice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I value most about SoMin.ai is its research-driven approach to marketing intelligence. It combines advanced analytics, AI, and mathematical modelling to support more informed decisions, rather than relying solely on intuition. The underlying technology and scientific expertise provide a strong foundation for developing innovative, commercially valuable solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The technology is sophisticated, but its complexity can make it difficult for non-technical users to fully appreciate its value. Perhaps it's also time to recognise that genuinely reliable, advanced solutions cannot always be simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Their MCP server - it is super helpful in my agentic workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Their UI is too specific to marketing planner workflow, yet it is solved by the MCP. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Somin brings together most of the socials into one easy to track UI. Set up by the team is consistently quick and we use it daily to track competitive accounts for tenders and new business and of course, for our client accounts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It could benefit from YouTube integration. And on occasion, it gets verbose. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I appreciate how SoMin.ai automates marketing operations like copywriting, social media posting, paid media optimizations, CRM research, performance reporting, and strategy building. I find it very efficient and grounded in its communication generation, and I like how it backs up insights with data. The insights it generates are supported by data, unlike other AI that often hallucinates, which helps me defend the ideas I propose to customers. SoMin.ai also benchmarks competitors' activities well, particularly communication keywords from my briefs. It creates content ideas effectively, and when I combine it with Figma MCP, I can come up with production-ready campaigns five to ten times faster. Their team is very helpful, available day and night to help with problem solving. The initial setup was very easy and completed within a couple of days, and I love that it differentiates us and serves as a 'secret weapon' for winning more business. The user interface is a little bit complicated. But because I'm using them through Claude, it fits my workflows pretty well, so that doesn't really affect me much. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
