You can read insights for all sorts of search queries on different platforms. **What do you dislike about socialmention?** One cannot access all the options in the free version of this tool. You are restricted to receiving results only for a weekly time period. Sometimes it seems like the data is not so accurate but they can improve this and a lot more within the tool **What problems is socialmention solving and how is that benefiting you?** Brand Monitoring, Statistics of Relevant search queries. If someone tries to prepare a report for your brand, it will give quick, simple & easy to understanding results. ### 2. It feels like socialmention was developed in mid-2000 and since then never updated. **What do you dislike about socialmention?** I've used socialmention a few time and thought that something is wrong with me as it found nearly nothing relevant to the search queries. Having tried it once again, I've noticed that nothing has changed - there is no improvement, and literally, no reason to use this service at all. **Recommendations to others considering socialmention:** If you need a good social monitoring tool, this isn't the one. Check Mention, Google Alerts or TalkWalker Alerts for a more relevant and useful app. **What problems is socialmention solving and how is that benefiting you?** socialmention should, in theory, find some detailed mentions of your companies, however, it never manages to produce any relevant or useful results. In the age of Google, socialmention has no reason to exist. ### 7. If you are looking for a magic bullet to show your client how much impact your campaign gained on Twitter...this tool is your savior. **What do you dislike about socialmention?** Under the "Free" dashboard you are limited to only receiving weekly results. It would be nice to have the ability to set a date range to allow for a more broad volume of data. **Recommendations to others considering socialmention:** Test out the dashboard and see how effective it is for yourself! **What problems is socialmention solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am solving my challenge against the clock. When trying to prepare reports with quick turnarounds you need a tool that gives you quick simple to understand results. ### 10. Allows me to quickly gauge the effectiveness of a campaign and provide the client with daily (if not hourly) status reports. **What do you dislike about socialmention?** Photobucket results are not exactly relevant. The Facebook stats seem EXTREMELY low and Twitter isn't even on the map. That is, without question, not accurate. **Recommendations to others considering socialmention:** Use in conjunction with other tools. **What problems is socialmention solving and how is that benefiting you?** It has helped have another way to count/track negative posts.
