Raise?** The best part of snap raise is the ease of setting up a campaign and the website. Everything was setup in a prompt fashion and changes were taken care of quickly. Also, the tracking of the participation was perfect and was able to allow me to focus in on who was not doing their part in my group. **What do you dislike about Snap! Raise?** The downside was not being able to use the system to send the text messages directly. To get the message and link from the computer to the students phone then send it was a bit of a hassle. A lot of my kids did not have cell phones that they were able to use so that extra step was a bit difficult to navigate. **What problems is Snap! Raise solving and how is that benefiting you?** The biggest problem that I did not want to fight with was handling product to sell. Also another plus is no cash handling. ### 2. Raise?** The hands off aspect of the online campaign is wildly more manageable than having multiple product meetings, sending kids door to door and storing unsold overpriced product that eats into funds raised. **What do you dislike about Snap! Raise?** The only real downside we have experieced is the small % cut that Snap takes in order to run the campaign. While we could always use more money for the program, the 20% is a fair cost for not having to manage anything beyond your own atheletes, and as the only cost for this type of fundraiser it certainly beats paying for left over unsold product. **What problems is Snap! Raise solving and how is that benefiting you?** Snap streamlines the fundraising process so that as a coach I only have to organize my atheletes once and then the fundraiser does the work us. We don't need to keep track of overpriced product, repalce anything lost or damaged or worry about unsold inventory. My atheltes are safer not going door to door or camping outside of stores and we can reach financial supporters to which we woud not otherwise have access. ### 3. Raise?** SnapRaise helped us meet our fundraiser goals and clearly communicate our plans/vision for what we planned to do with our proceeds. It was also helpful to have a team store included with a percentage from those sales going to our program. It was easy to chart and track progress from the fundraiser and great that we had immediate access to the funds in our ASB account. It included a lot of helpful features and tips (like creating a thank-you video for contributors) to help drive engagement and point donors toward our goals. **What do you dislike about Snap! Raise?** The most difficult part is the percentage that Snap! Raise takes from the proceeds. It's understandable. But we had some families who reached out saying they weren't comfortable with the idea that 20% of the funds they were donating were going to Snap! Raise. We had another family ask to opt out of the fundraiser because they didn't believe in soliciting money from people. So it was difficult to get full buy-in from our parents/community. I think it would be better to include on the website the portion of the proceeds that Snap! Raise takes from the fundraiser's total to create better transparency for the donors. **What problems is Snap! Raise solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our boys basketball program was able to raise funds to travel to a prestigious tournament after Christmas to Ketchikan, Alaska, helping create some of our players' favorite experience of the season on that trip. We were also able to raise funds to replace water bottles, old basketballs and help prepare to meet other program needs. ### 4. Raise?** I like how easy it is to set up Snap! and the fact that there are QR codes that make it technology-friendly. The Snap! store where fans can get gear for the players or purchase some themselves is also a great motivator. Players found it easy to use and returning players were thankful that their emails saved year after year, so they can use them again if they stay in the program. I also found the site easy to manage when checking in on players and their progress. **What do you dislike about Snap! Raise?** Snap! does take a small fee for using their platform. The percentage is small, but when you raise a sizable chunk of money, it does feel like it takes a good amount from your total. **What problems is Snap! Raise solving and how is that benefiting you?** Snap! is helping us raise money for gear that we would not be able to purchase otherwise. The district does not supply much for extra gear and it is nice to be able to get more gear for players and make them feel like being part of the program. ### 5. Raise?** Snap Raise was an easy and quick way to raise funds for my choral program. Implementing the funraiser was easy due to students frontloading all of the work of collecting emails. They did not have to worry about selling products, collecting money, or delivering products like a normal fundraiser. Caroline was my snap representative and she was very helpful when it came to answering questions and concerns that I had throughout the process. I also liked the incentive feature and Snap store for students to get products with a group logo. **What do you dislike about Snap! Raise?** The only down-side of using snap was that I had some parents that were confused or weary of sharing people's emails. Caroline was helpful in this area too by showing how to share the link as well as suggesting to take donations for those who did not want to participate. All-in-all, nothing about the Snap Raise system and fundraiser itself had any downfalls in my opinion. **What problems is Snap! Raise solving and how is that benefiting you?** Snap raise helped to raise money for my choral program to purchase supplies, music, accompanists, and help fund for trips. This makes it to where students do not have to pay to be in the program. ### 6. Raise?** I love how quickly you can get the fundraiser started and get donations flowing in immediately. I really like how the emails get sent out automatically once a week after the original send. This helps us to generate more donations as the month goes on. I also like how the fundraiser time can be customized. I wanted a shorter time frame for the donations and my rep was able to do that for me. **What do you dislike about Snap! Raise?** In the past, I have had issues getting my check. This has been a headache, and sometimes it is delivered to the wrong person, or writen out to the wrong person. It is very hard tracking checks down at the school district office. However, NOW, my SnapRaise representative is hand delivering the check to me like I had requested, so we should have no problems going forward. **What problems is Snap! Raise solving and how is that benefiting you?** They are allowing me to get my check handed to me in person after completion of the fundraiser. ### 7. Raise?** What is helpful about snap is that all the money is collected and comes in one check. As a busy head coach who has a lot of tasks. This was helpful. I also love that I didn't have to deliver any products. The other thing that was great was getting people, donors, from the farther away involved. **What do you dislike about Snap! Raise?** It was a bit of a chore to remind the kids to put in their emails. Also, some families were opposed to this type of fundraising, which was a barrier. Some additional positive marketing toward parents who are hesitant would be great. **What problems is Snap! Raise solving and how is that benefiting you?** The only problem is families or kids who don't want to participate or I have already tapped out on asking people for donations. It absolutely benefited us by bringing a big chunk of money without having to do product delivery or deposit several checks. ### 8. Raise?** The account managers are very responsive and on top of everything. The Snap platform is super easy to navigate and on board all participants. Even the high school kids can manage and utilize the platform effectively! I also loved the goal setting for our players to incentivize getting more active in the fundraiser, and the kids loved the rewards as well! **What do you dislike about Snap! Raise?** The only issue we ran into with Snap Raise was the timeframe for getting our check. This is not really a downside because you can setup a direct deposit, which in hindsight I should have utilized and then not had this issue! **What problems is Snap! Raise solving and how is that benefiting you?** Snap Raise solves the major issue with all fundraising....the issue of time! Snap minimizes the time necessary to setup, on board participants, recieve donations from donors, and manage the fudraiser! It describes what we are using funds for and makes it easy for our community to donate. It keeps things in one space and the timeframe is long enough but gets us our funds in time for season. ### 10. Raise?** I love that once the fundraiser launches, there is not much work required on my end. There is planning involved and some work that has to be done before launch (if you're really serious about raising money and want your students to buy in), but all of that effort is worth it once you see the donations rolling in. **What do you dislike about Snap! Raise?** I think the only downside for me would be the percentage of money raised that the company takes. I get it, that's how they are able to function, but the high percentage turns some people off. **What problems is Snap! Raise solving and how is that benefiting you?** This fundraiser helps with the lack of funding I receive from my school district. I have 210 students in my middle school band program and receive $2,700 per year. This money allows us to purcahse and upgrade equipment that so desperately needs it. ### 11. Raise?** The Snap! Raise team is efficient and easy to work with. They reach out wtih support without being overbearing on contact. Any questions I had were answered the same day, and often the same hour. We have used this as our primary fundraiser for our science research program for several years and plan to continue to do so in the future. **What do you dislike about Snap! Raise?** The only downside to using Snap! Raise is getting the students to add their emails. Otherwise, it's extremely easy! **What problems is Snap! Raise solving and how is that benefiting you?** No more door to door fundraising or trying to sell a product. Snap! Raise allows family members that do not live close by to participate in students' activities. From our perspective, the funds we are able to raise pay for science equpiment and materials for student research projects. ### 14. The best thing is there is no physical handing off of money. There is no inventory like candy to keep up with. It was so refreshing. The check came in less than two weeks. I will be doing another Snap Raise again very soon. **What do you dislike about Snap! Raise?** I didn't know you could change the donation minimum. Raise?** We love the ease of Snapraise, it makes raising funds simple and easy. For the past 3 years we have raised over $30k for our program! We appreciate the constant support and feedback from the SnapRaise team. **What do you dislike about Snap! Raise?** The restriction on having all your participates submit 20 emails. We have a lot of siblings and players who do not want to ask family members for money so that becomes difficult to get the 20 email requirement for every person involved. **What problems is Snap! Raise solving and how is that benefiting you?** They are solving the problem of fundraising. Typically fundraising take a lot of time to plan and often times you do not make a lot of money from the venue you are using taking their cut. ### 23. Raise?** That is is not as hands on as other fundraising experiences. I don't touch the money! It is a great way to reach further than your localized area. Selling items only can reach so far. **What do you dislike about Snap! Raise?** The only negative I can think of is the cyber security issues raised from families. While I 100% believe this to be a safe, secure website, several parents have raised questions about the cyber security so it makes them not donate. **What problems is Snap! Raise solving and how is that benefiting you?** The problem it is solving is reaching a large amount of people in a short amount of time. The return is fantastic too... 80% of all funds kept is outstanding! Item based fundraisers usually only keep about 60%. ### 24. Raise?** I like that Snap! Raise provides us with an online system to collect money that is much easier and more efficient than us trying to collect via venmo and track how much we raise. Through their system we have access to an email system that emails students families and supporters, as well as people that donated during previous campaigns. **What do you dislike about Snap! Raise?** The worst part about Snap! Raise is that they keep 20%, but after all of the features they include and the great customer support this is a small price to pay. **What problems is Snap! Raise?** I think you should be able to use the cell phone numbers when signing up, not when the fundrasier begins. The advisors get emails about limited sign up prior to activation, however, students have family members cell phones not emails as much. **What problems is Snap! Raise?** The methodology of the campaigns does put a lot of stress on students' personal networks, and that works much better for some students than others. Their fees are a little higher than some other options, but I think the reliability and customer service offsets that. **What problems is Snap! Raise?** The length of time it took to revive our funds from snap raise was longer than anticipated. With the short amount of time in our season, our funds did not arrive until the a season was just about over. **What problems is Snap! Raise?** Snap! has been the easiest fundraising tool I've used for my high school volleyball teams. Previously, I struggled with fundraiser participation and was only able to raise a few hundred dollars. I've used Snap! for the past 3 seasons and my teams have raised thousands. Now I'm able to outfit my teams with backpacks, warmups shirts and pants, knee pads, spandex, and all the equipment they need for volleyball practice. I highly recommend this program. **What do you dislike about Snap! Raise?** The 20% cut they take is steep but I'm still able to generate plenty for the booster account. **What problems is Snap! Participants that are absent or non-responsive can make it difficult at the start because it makes it look like the group isn't fully committed. **What problems is Snap! At the end of the day, families have to have connections to people that would be able to donate. Depending on what activities / hobbies / jobs as family has, this may be easy or difficult for them.
