I really enjoy how intuitive and easy the SmartStore store builder is to use, requiring no advanced technical skills to customize our store layout and design. The built-in product and inventory management tools perfectly suit our food production business by neatly organizing our food items and automatically tracking stock levels, alerting me when inventory is low. I appreciate the straightforward order management dashboard that unites all incoming customer orders, simplifying the process without needing to switch tools. The simple sales reporting and analytics feature gives clear overviews of sales and customer trends, helping us make better production decisions. I love that SmartStore is an all-in-one solution that combines store design, product listing, inventory tracking, order handling, and basic sales reports for small food production e-commerce businesses like ours. The drag-and-drop store builder is incredibly valuable as I can customize our online store without a coding background, saving us money and allowing easy updates. SmartStore's integrated structure, user-friendly customization, and streamlined order management have significantly improved our workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
SmartStore works well for our basic online store and sales needs, but there are a few areas that could be better optimized for small food production businesses like ours. First, the built-in discount and promotion tools are fairly basic. We often run seasonal sales, bundle deals for our food products, and bulk order discounts for local wholesale clients, but SmartStore lacks advanced rule settings. It doesn’t support custom bundle pricing, tiered volume discounts, or scheduled automatic promotion start and end times, so I have to adjust prices manually every time. Second, the inventory system doesn’t support batch tracking or expiration date management, which is really important for our perishable food items. Right now it only tracks general stock quantities, with no way to log production batches, shelf life dates, or set automatic alerts for soon-to-expire products. This forces me to keep a separate spreadsheet to manage expiration dates manually. Another downside is limited integration options with common shipping and local delivery platforms. As a small food producer, we rely on local delivery services and regional shipping carriers, but SmartStore doesn’t connect seamlessly with them. I have to manually copy order details over to arrange delivery, which adds extra repetitive work every day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
