The customer support is arguably the best in the industry. In an era where most SaaS companies hide behind bots and ticket queues, Smaily provides actual human expertise almost instantly. Whether it's a technical implementation question or help with an API integration, their team acts more like an extension of our own marketing department. What do you dislike about Smaily email marketing and automation?

While it covers the essentials like opens and clicks, the reporting lacks depth for advanced analysis. I wish the native analytics were more granular, as I often have to export data to external tools to get the multi-touch attribution insights I need for complex campaigns. What problems is Smaily email marketing and automation solving and how is that benefiting you?

In my experience, getting technical help from larger ESPs is nearly impossible. Smaily solves the 'black hole' support problem by providing actual human experts who respond in minutes. What do you like best about Smaily email marketing and automation?

I like Smaily for several reasons. The visual automation workflows are a standout feature, making it incredibly easy to set up triggers like Welcome Series and Birthday Reminders without getting tangled in complex coding. It's a 'set it and forget it' system that saves me hours. I also appreciate how Smaily allows scaling that personal touch; I can automate personalized interactions like welcome notes or birthday discounts effortlessly, so everyone feels noticed at the right time. The way Smaily eliminates what I call 'leaky buckets' in business is valuable too—visual workflows act as a safety net, helping recover lost revenue through timely follow-up emails, like sending a discount code if someone hasn't purchased in three days. Smaily's integration with e-commerce platforms like Shopify and WooCommerce is another feature I enjoy. It pulls product details into emails easily and enables revenue-saving automations, especially for Abandoned Cart reminders. Moreover, its intentionally simple user interface, which avoids the complexity of other tools, gets back to high-quality email basics, making it easier to send newsletters without jumping through hoops. The drag-and-drop editor is intuitive, speeding up the process of getting emails out the door. Lastly, for a mid-sized company like mine, Smaily is cost-efficient, allowing my marketing and sales team to collaborate without high per-user fees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I dislike the lack of a robust preview mode in Smaily. While there is a general preview, emails sometimes look different across various devices and email clients. This means I have to send multiple test emails to myself on different devices to make sure everything looks perfect before a big launch, which can be time-consuming. I use Smaily to automate communication, handle abandoned cart recovery, and send newsletters easily, which helps in sales tracking. It removes manual tasks, enhances personalization, prevents revenue leaks, simplifies UI, integrates with e-commerce for automation, and is cost-efficient for a growing team.
