## Slite Reviews
 ### 1. Very Helpful Tool for Organizing Educational and Support Content

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ishan S. | Manager and Dietician at Chaitanya Homoeo Clinic, Medical Store Owner, Content Creator, Hospital & Health Care, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Slite helps me keep educational and wellness related information properly organized without making the workflow complicated. I work as a Dietician and Nutritionist and also create health education content for social media, so during regular work I manage diet guidance, heart health notes, hydration tips, patient education content, follow up information, and wellness related documentation inside Slite. The interface feels very clean and easy to use even when working with multiple documents and educational topics together. Creating pages, arranging docs, updating health guidance, and searching older notes is very smooth. I also like that channels, team wiki, knowledge management, and document organization features help keep all educational content properly structured in one place instead of scattered files.

Features like collaborative docs, searchable notes, organized workspaces, tagging, templates, quick editing, and knowledge sharing are very useful during daily workflow. Sometimes I also prepare awareness material, seasonal wellness guidance, lifestyle management notes, and educational resources for students or learners, so keeping everything arranged and easy to access saves a lot of time. The writing experience also feels simple and distraction free while preparing longer educational content. Implementation was easy and integration with browser based work felt smooth. I use it quite frequently because updating information and managing educational documentation becomes faster compared to normal note keeping methods. Overall Slite feels lightweight, practical, and very useful for managing health education, wellness knowledge, and informational content in a more professional and organized way.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Sometimes when working with larger documentation or many educational notes together, finding older information can take a little extra time because there can be a lot of pages and channels inside the workspace. I also felt that a few advanced organization or search options take some time to fully understand in the beginning, but overall the platform works smoothly for regular knowledge management and educational content work.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slite is helping me solve the problem of keeping educational and wellness related information properly organized in one place instead of scattered notes and files. Earlier, managing diet guidance, patient education content, seasonal wellness tips, follow up notes, and health related documentation separately used to take more time during regular work.

Now it is much easier to create docs, organize channels, manage knowledge base content, and quickly search important information whenever needed. Features like collaborative documentation, AI search, templates, tagging, integrations, and knowledge management tools help keep educational content structured and easy to access during daily workflow. It also benefits me while preparing health awareness content, student learning material, and wellness guidance for social media or regular educational work because updating and sharing information becomes faster and more organized. Overall it saves time and makes knowledge sharing and educational documentation much easier during daily work.

 ### 2. Streamlined Documentation with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew S. | CTO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Slite?**

I really like the text interface and commenting setup in Slite because it's really easy to use and simple, while still giving you all the features you need. The collections feature is very powerful and really useful, as quite a few of our processes currently use them. It's great to have a setup that ensures there's one owner for a document who understands the state of the current doc, which helps keep everything up to date. Additionally, the AI-powered search is really powerful.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

I think the lack of offline work is something that could be improved. Also, the table search filter and other controls have a few limitations that need work. Better integration would be helpful too, like the currently limited Figma integration.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used to struggle with messy documentation, now Slite helps us easily verify and update content. It's simple to know who updates what, and its interface makes onboarding smoother.

 ### 3. Clean, Simple Confluence Alternative with Great MCP + LLM Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Slite?**

It’s a great substitute for Confluence—much simpler overall, with a clean UI. The MCP integration with LLMs is also great. We are now using tools like Claude to read and write inside Slite pages directly. The pricing strategy is also fair for small team like us and makes a good choice for startup. We didn't have any technical issue and the switch from Confluence to Slite was super easy.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Embedded Figma previews would be great to have directly inside pages

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a great place to store all information about your business knowledge. We use it as our source of truth where each team organises their content. It is the central place now to find everything you need to know about our product, strategy, roadmap and delivery.

 ### 4. The perfect tool to transition from 'tribal knowledge' to a structured and scalable knowledge sharing system!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Esteban F. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Slite?**

What I appreciate most about Slite is feeling that there is real thought put into knowledge management. It's not just a note-taking tool; it's truly designed as a knowledge-sharing tool. This is particularly noticeable with the artificial intelligence features that have been developed, which make users more efficient, not only as individuals but also as a team.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

My main (small) frustration is that the application can sometimes not be completely smooth. It happens to me occasionally that the page "crashes" when I try to paste certain data on a page or in a table, or when the page doesn't scroll to the right place. These are probably small bugs. It doesn't waste a lot of time, but it can be a minor inconvenience.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slite solves the problem of internal knowledge sharing, aligning teams and optimizing efficiency. I love its continuous evolution and AI features that speed up information retrieval, making the team more effective.

 ### 5. Collaborate Effectively Thanks to Slite

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andreas W. | Customer Success Manager

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Slite?**

I use Slite to access information within the company so that all teams can have access to processes or useful data when performing our roles. With Slite, we can find information much faster, reducing the time we spend asking questions to other colleagues, as everything is detailed and documented in one place, making it a single source of information without the need to search in different places. I really like that Slite has an artificial intelligence version called Ask. You can include other sources of information besides Slite, such as your Slack accounts, which allows you to resolve complete questions from different sources. Slite has helped us make collaboration more dynamic.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

I feel that the Ask artificial intelligence version should be integrated into Slite's search engine itself, instead of opening a new window.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slite so that all teams have access to useful information. We can find the information quickly, reducing the time spent asking others questions. Everything is documented in one place, avoiding the need to search through different sources.

 ### 6. Efficient Documentation with Easy Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Axel V. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Slite?**

I really like Slite for its straightforward and simple user experience at a surface level. I think that's super important. There's nothing standing in the way of clearly writing and reviewing documents. The MCP feature is super useful for automatically searching those source of truth documents using AI tools. I find the user permissions feature beneficial too, as it helps us share documents that are ready while keeping others private, which is particularly useful in a medium-sized company.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Document updates sometimes fail to register, so I need to refresh the page, causing some changes to get lost in the process. This tends to happen often, especially with live collections. Collections are also a bit unreliable. Specifically, changing properties within a collection can erase information from a whole collection. We had to contact Slite to get a backup of our source of truth because a lot of stuff got erased.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slite as a flexible source of truth for documentation. It allows me to share information broadly within my company, especially within the product engineering team, and adapt documents without manually updating across projects. This helps us improve our product and processes continuously.

 ### 7. Centralized Documentation with AI-Powered Search

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tomas B.

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Slite?**

I really like Slite's AI Search feature. Initially, I thought it might be gimmicky, but it works pretty well. I tested it out with a document, and once I finished writing, I asked the AI, and it brought exactly what I needed. It's really convenient, especially since we have documentation in various languages. The AI can handle different languages and provide the results in English or Portuguese, which is very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

I guess what doesn't work as well, I think, is the search. I noticed that's very, it only really finds documents if I write the full title. And something that could be improved would be multiple windows support, especially on the app. Because that would be super helpful. Because sometimes I need to open multiple, and then it's like when I click on it, it automatically opens it.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Slite for centralizing information and easy document creation. It's simple to manage permissions and integrates well, supporting mermaid, link, and markdown. It's our go-to for quick access to documentation and internal information.

 ### 8. A clean, collaborative space that keeps my team organized

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rojan S. | Founder, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Slite makes organizing and sharing information incredibly simple. The clean, distraction-free interface makes it easy to focus on content, and its collaborative features let my team work together in real time without getting lost in endless email threads or scattered documents. I especially like how search works quickly and accurately, which saves time.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

While Slite is excellent for structured documentation, it can feel limited for more complex workflows. Integration options are not as extensive as some competitors, and offline functionality could be more robust. Sometimes formatting options feel basic, and I wish there were more customization options for document layouts.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slite helps solve the problem of scattered team knowledge and miscommunication. Before using it, important notes, meeting summaries, and project details were spread across emails, chat messages, and different cloud folders.

 ### 9. Slite has been a game changer for more than just note-taking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Guillaume T. | Senior Technical Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Slite reaches the proper equilibrium between simplicity and features. Creating all sorts of notes, documents, even user guides for our products has been a breeze since we discovered Slite. It's extremely easy to get onboard, the team has been growing and everyone now use Slite. Customer support is also absolutely top notch, they are friendly, efficient, and very quick to respond.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

There is not much we don't like about Slite to be honest. Perhaps we would appreciate a more flexible top banner for each document, except that it's perfect for our needs!

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We initially used Word, then we switched to Google Docs for most of our note-taking and various types of enterprise documentation. We looked into adopting Obsidian, Notion, etc. The search feature in Notion being the absolute worst we decided to postpone our analysis but we suddenly stumbled upon Slite and the rest is history. Now with Slite it's easier and quicker to write, collaborate, search, and share/embed any document with only one click. It has simplified a lot our enterprise documentation and knowledge centralization, to the point even the user guides for our applications have been promoted to the Slite environment, it's nice and neat to have everything secured at the same place and easy to collaborate on, not even mentioning the AI search/ask features which is just the icing on the cake for us.

 ### 10. A Collaboration Changing Tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jose B. | Senior Executive Marketing Specialist , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Slite?**

My methods of working as a team have also changed drastically since I started using Slite. The thing I enjoy most about this platform is that it is simple and puts a lot of emphasis on collaboration. The interface is neither ugly nor very hard to deal with and even new comers or those who have been using surfing devices for quite some time can feel quite comfortable when at the interface. The way in which notes and documents can be organized into particular workspaces helps to track projects and tasks much easier.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Nonetheless, not all has been ideal. Searching through specific documents can at times prove to be a bit difficult unless I clearly identify and title some of these documents. However, I have found out how to organize myself better in the platform and this has helped me a lot.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Among the things that I love about Slite is the fact that it has assisted in eliminating communication problems within the team. Previously, there used to be cases of loss of emails or the need to go through several formats to acquire information. Our notes, meeting minutes, and decisions that are important to us are centralized and we know that all staff are at the same page with Slite. Lately, I have developed a dependency on Lite. With an approachable interface and the possibility to create productive cooperation it is worth using. Although there are points that need to be improved, particularly the search feature, I believe that the advantages are more than the disadvantages. Slite is a convenient instrument designed to facilitate the process of communication in a team.

 ### 11. We centralize everything here

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paula B. | Head of CS, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

our knowledge base that allow us to keep everything in one place - our source of truth

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

tables to be more dynamic and that can be updated easily

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

collaboration, conversations, and documentation

 ### 12. Clean, Intuitive UI for Documentation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Clean and intuitive UI for internal documentation. Easy to migrate existing documentation over

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Limited customization, no offline access capabilities

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Internal collaborative documentation source of truth

 ### 13. Simplifying Collaboration: A Deep Dive into Slite’s Document Linking Power

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Klarissa D. | Product Designer Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Slite stands out with its clean, intuitive interface that makes linking documents and navigating between them straightforward. Getting started is simple and doesn’t require a steep learning curve, which for me was great since moving from other softwares. Because everything is in one place and easy to find, I rely on Slite almost daily for my documentation needs. As a product designer, I like embedding my Figma files. Having my design prototypes right alongside relevant documents helps me maintain a cohesive workflow without constantly switching between tools. Its robust set of features accommodates various requirements, ensuring all relevant information stays interconnected. Additionally, Slite integrates well with other tools in my workflow, minimizing the need to switch platforms.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

The lack of a native Figma integration can make collaborative design work feel a bit limited. Although embedding files is possible, real-time updates or annotation directly within Slite would streamline design collaboration even further. Additionally, with a lot of interlinked documents, I sometimes need a more structured interface to avoid getting overwhelmed by the volume of content.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its solving the document organization and team collaboration.

 ### 14. Work as my team knowledge hub.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Suhail H. | QA Member, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Slite does a great job of keeping all my team’s docs and notes in a nicely organized place, and the notion of a clean interface and do-not-disturb real-time collaboration makes it easy to take meeting minutes or onboard new hires without the mess of too many tools.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

The absence of offline access in the mobile app is a bummer and often catches me out when I’m traveling, as I can’t depend on flaky internet for checking something quickly.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Overall, Slite’s an awesome, no-frills knowledge base that’s definitely made our team more efficient, and even more useful for me if they could figure out offline functionality (and something about Duotone); it’s still my no. 1 for helping keep everyone on the same page.

 ### 15. Powerful and easy to use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Benjamin V. | Founder, CEO, CPO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Slite?**

All is very simple!
Your tool is very intuitive. If you used another tool like Notion, as I was, you won't lost.
And if you don't use this kind of tool, you will learn very quickly to use it.
It was very easy to import my Notion into my Slite.
I don't really understand the database notion, but it was the same with Notion :))
I think I'm not the best brain for that, that's all!

I like your templates with examples when we use one, your AI is very useful to improve my own texts, etc.

The customer support is truly great!
I needed them because on my Mac, I had some "bugs". The customer support answered me and the Slite team fixed it just in few hours. That's very a pleasure to have this listening.
Thanks again guys!

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

I would like to see more features for roadmap, like a gantt model.
Also, when I imported some Notion of different users, the layout are not exactly the same, so I needed to spend some times to improve it.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Share the vision of our company, our strategy, etc.
our organisation means that using Slite gets teams more involved because everything is available and can be discussed

 ### 16. I enjoy it for project organization and tracking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sukran Bahar S. | Doctoral Student, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Slite?**

I like that I can use it for organization-wide projects as well as smaller projects. For example, I will have smaller project pages with sub-pages for quick references to more specific information, but those all have links to other documents that are hosted for organization-wide information which ensures that there is consistency across smaller projects. It also makes it easy to organize small projects all in the same format which then makes it easy to follow the structure when onboarding someone to a new project. I also like that it integrates well with Slack

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Not much, I enjoy using it and I don't have any problems with any feature.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows for multiple people to 1) onboard on to projects, 2) track progress on goals multiple people are working on. It helps me to see weekly progress and also allows me to organize information for quick onboarding and less hands on teaching.

 ### 17. Excellent work wiki solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Beth S. | Executive Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Slite has been incredibly user friendly and aesthetically pleasing. The interface is very accessible to even the newest team member, and features such as expiring document verification help us ensure that all workplace internal policies stay current and are reviewed regularly.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

We haven't encountered any downsides to the Slite platform, and have been very happy with how easily it integrated into our existing tech stack.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Slite an internal workplace wiki for policies, project-based background information storage, etc. It has replaced the outdated "intranet" model, which historically becomes a graveyard of long-outdated information. Slite's time-limited verification feature has prevented us from creating policies or documents that becomem outdated and forgotten, and made reviewing and updating internal information intuitive and easy.

 ### 18. Stylish UI and ease-of-use makes creating a shared knowledge base easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Branden H. | Director of Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Writing and formatting content is incredibly easy, even as a new user. You're never buried in features - instead, new tools and ways of working are easily discovered as you work in Slite. Creating content of any sort, prose, technical documetation, and even code just feels nice and subtly encourges more use. Little asethetic features like emoji icons and banner images let you "decorate" your work which is enjoyable and further encourages daily use to help your team to build out your knowledge base. When I've run into issues I've received very good customer support and the issue was fixed very quickly.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

I was going to complain about how Guests work as we had trouble with external sharing about a year ago, but looking through their documentation I think it's been clarified and/or fixed.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a technical team with a lot of information that needs sharing internally - internal projects, client projects, tools and techniques, you name it. We're an increasingly distributed team and not everyone is available to "tap" at any given time. Since we've implemented the "rule" of "it's not done until it's documented on Slite" our knowledge base has grown and with that growth it's usefulness has skyrocketed. If you need to know something technical for your job, it's either on Slite already or when you're done figuring it out you'll put in on Slite. More and more we're only have to solve problems once.

 ### 19. Awesome tool for interoffice communications and digitized organizational documents!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aundria G. | Claims and Returns Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Slite is so simple to use! And for the times when it is not, their support chat team is very informative and literally provides you with step-by-step instructions on how to achieve the result you're looking for. The ease of use and support staff make for a low-stress office tool, that basically does everything!

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

The outline list of groups/sections/docs etc can get confusing when first using Slite. Seemed to be more confusing when I was using Slite to type my doc directly into it rather than when I have uploaded an already completed document to it.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My most loved benefit is being able to create a document or note and it instantaneously be shared with the rest of our company. Skip the nonsense of having to open a word program or database program, etc, , then creating your doc, then saving to file on your computer, and then sending it or printing it out. All one step - create and save and you're done. Or upload and save - Done. And of course, I cannot express enough the amount of $ that can and will be saved by not printing all your interoffice and organizational documents, and the speed at which everyone will be notified of the information being on slite, just a second after you've completed making it.

 ### 20. A great Knowledge Base tool for our Startup %

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manolis K. | Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Slite?**

We've been using Slite in our startup, and it's been a game-changer for our team!
Compared to tools like Confluence and getoutline.com, Slite offers a much cleaner, more intuitive interface that makes collaboration feel effortless. It's lightweight yet powerful.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

There is one (1) area that could be improved:
- Limited Customization: While the simplicity is a strength, sometimes it feels a bit too minimal. More options for document formatting or customization would be great for teams with varied needs..

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The #1 issue it helps is "Team Collaboration": With real-time editing & commenting, my team members can work together on the same doc seamlessly, without version control headaches. This enhances collaboration & keeps everyone on the same page, which is essential for our team that works at a full-remote

 ### 21. Super good platform for a company intranet!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jesse T. | IT Support Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Slite is a super easy to use platform, encompassing all of the great features you would see in any Intranet program but with A lot of extra features and connections to other programs and tools you may use already.

I love that they keep adding features to the platform. It's already super convenient with all of its plugin and usability connecting with so many different platforms.

Its super easy to make any sort of documentation or articles explaining anything in a company internet with slite! This is where all of my company-wide tutorials live.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

The few things I am not 100% agreeing on are the premium features for administration users.

You have to buy a premium package to get some of the basic features for security and user administration for apps but if you just looking for something super basic or if you want to drop some money into it then this is probably your go-to tool.

Also they need to add a text formatting option to increase size by scaling numbers rather than just headings.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to share documentation and information company-wide without the hassle of having to manage txt files that will get misplaced and forgot about. It allows us to keep up to date information readily available for any employee.

 ### 22. Practical and Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Enzo W. | Reactivation Sales Agent, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Slite?**

The Most helpful about Slite is the tools. Easy to navigate in the website and really practical.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

There is no options to change the size of the font, sometimes its a bit annoying.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As the company I work for is big and we have 3 offices, Slite helps us to connect knowledge between the employees.

 ### 23. Personal experience with Slite

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Slite?**

It makes documentation easier and accessible by entire team

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

not enough formatting options available in the tool

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it helps in documenting all the process and benefits used in the company

 ### 24. Total game changer for our team!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Slite?**

I have been using Slite since starting with my current company, and it has been wonderful! I lead our talent development team and utilize Slite daily for company-wide documentation, onboarding packets, training, etc. It is an excellent tool and easy to maintain across the entire organization.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

I wish folks across teams would keep their documents up-to-date more often. Definitely not Slite's fault - just needing to find more time in the day to help others adopt some of the great verification features!

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a company, we use Slite as "source of truth" documentation about our company policies, product knowledge, etc. It is also a huge help for collaborative onboarding of new employees and other training materials.
I personally use Slite for taking notes during meetings. It's super easy to use, move topics around, and the simplicity means I'm not keeping lost in a ton of formatting features that aren't necessary. I can focus on what's important and know it still looks clean and easy to navigate!

 ### 25. My go-to tool when it comes to managing my personal & professional knowledge base

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eduard B. | Founder, Brand Designer & Strategist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

I like how it's actively trying to put an end to knowledge base problems that plague so many professionals and companies. Their new features are always spot on, feedback is quickly taken into account and acted upon, and the team behind the product is amazing.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Performance for longer documents has been a problem of mine that I haven't seen completely solved. However, I have seen numerous attempts to do so, all of which resulted in significant improvements to the problem.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organizing both my personal and professional knowledge bases, including everything from simple note-taking to complex documentation.

 ### 26. Working with Slite

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Slite offers an intuitive and clean interface for documentation and knowledge sharing. Its well-organized structure makes information easily discoverable, while the real-time collaboration features enable seamless teamwork. The integrated templates save significant setup time.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

While Slite is excellent overall, it cannot have tables of the width we want..

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slite effectively solves our team's knowledge management and documentation challenges. It centralizes our information, procedures, and documentation in one searchable hub, which saves time previously spent searching through scattered documents and emails. The collaborative features ensure everyone stays aligned and can easily contribute to our knowledge base.

 ### 27. Perfect for keeping track

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shelly S. | User Interface Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Slite?**

I use slite to make notes about conversations with customers. The most useful thing is that I can use templates that make the conversation easier. It's more organized than my notes app because of the various options such as page linking and tables.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Sometimes when i make a new document it's showing a custom icon in the sidebar based on the content. This can be a bit chaotic.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can work together with colleagues on documents and make checklists after taking notes during a meeting. Some meetings have the same structure so the templates really help with this. There are far more options than other note apps so i can keep my files organized.

 ### 28. Overall impressed with intuitive and intentional features, but still buggy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Slite?**

The continuous improvements and bug fixes are appealing, and customer support has been great at quick responses to my emails.
Slite is catered to knowledge management and does it well, and does not try to stray into "scope creep" aiming at project management tasks, etc.
It has the relevant features that matter while also supporting further analytic insights to those certain people who want that information.
The interface is clean and intuitive.
It links to outside locations seamlessly to tie everything together.
Being able to easily lock and unlock editing keeps accidental changes from happening by parties that just want to view.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

After using Slite at a higher frequency, we've run into a few bugs that can slow things down for us.

The AI search bar basically isn't functional. It would be a lot more helpful to have just a normal search bar that looks between all the documents instead of requiring it to be a question. This causes us to rely on getting to the right document and then CTRL+F. But CTRL+F doesn't work in collapsed sections, so everything has to be expanded to use that as our fall-back. In this way, Google Drive was easier to search.

It's difficult linking within the same document. There is the table anchor URL, but it can't pull to a specific row in the table, just the top.

The Table of Contents has to be toggled on every single time entering a new doc. We utilize this a lot to navigate between different topics within a document to find the info we need, so it would be nice to have it on all the time. Also, sometimes the TOC's don't jump to the header that is selected (bug). It seems random, but it is very frequent when I try to click to navigate to a header and it won't jump. I click around to other nearby headers until one of them works.

I would also love to be able to re-size my images. Not many of them require the whole document width, and the resolution becomes distorted. I find myself leaving images off documents because it looks bad or unusable.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to utilize docs on Google Drive, but that was separated by tons of different folders and subfolders. Searching and navigating was always highly intensive, so breaking documents out into smaller chunks was inhibiting to finding the info we needed. As a result, our documents became really really long (15 pages min, up to 75 pages). Slite helps solve the navigation issue so we can break out docs into focused topics, keeping the length shorter and including links within Slite to get to where we need to go.

 ### 29. Amazing for cross-organizational team collaboration!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victoria P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Very easy and straightforward to learn across a range of team members' technological savviness. Implementation only required a short presentation on how to use it and we were off and using it within the hour. We use it multiple times every week to hold committee meeting notes and planning documentation for a complicated, cross-organizational product, and we needed something that we could set up quickly and adjust to our needs. I did have to reach out to Customer Support when a few people's invites to the team went missing but it turned out it was all human error – and the support representatives I spoke to were very kind about it!

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

I wish there was a better way to view spreadsheets or .csv's in Slite. I do feel like the file upload types that Slite allows is somewhat limited, especially if you weren't using Slite at the inception of the project and if the team buy-in isn't 100% from the get-go.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed something more than just a file storage base, but also somewhere where we could host all documents related to the project and continue to work on them in committees. With Slite, we can comment on documents, upload others, and crosslink between them where applicable, which we really love doing and find extremely helpful.

 ### 30. Really Helpful

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Its really easy to create and write articles, along with the organization of it. I like that it has a public link for sharing that I can send out. I use it frequently to send out directions to users or to look up answers to some of my questions about how we do certain things.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

The sidebar does seem to get a littled bloated if your organization uses it a lot and has a lot of articles, if there is a way to slim that down or maybe just show the current channel instead of everything.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slite is helping us to compile all of our how to documents and how everything works into one space that is easy to access. It makes it easy to find all the information that I need to know how to do parts of my job.

 ### 31. Powerful, stylish, and affordable enterprise knowledge repository solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Slite?**

The ability to connect systems like Google Drive and perform searches across all your knowledge is incredibly powerful.

The ability to create diagrams within the platform without having to purchase and integrate an additional tool has been immensely powerful.

Unlike many wiki solutions, it's easy to style and customize the look of the instance and individual pages, and the overall experience can be curated without much effort so that employees can easily navigate and find what they're looking for.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

The area where Slite is weakest is in it's list of integrations. If there are specific tools whos content you really want surfaced in Slite, or conversely if you want Slite embedded in some other tool, it may be challengin.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Wiki for internal documentation, plus enterprise search across both google drive and slite content.

 ### 32. Slite is a great place to compile information and create training documents.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Slite?**

My favorite part of Slite is being able to collaborate on documents.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

I find that sometimes finding what I need can be cumbersome.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating a living document for training materials and reference materials.

 ### 33. Simple, effective, and beautiful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

The interface is intuitive and accessible for people with different backgrounds. There are lots of small but effective features designed specifically to help companies manage their internal knowledge. It's way ahead of the alternatives I've tried.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

The integrated AI is very promising, but it still has some limitations that make it not very useful in many cases. It'll get there.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our information was spread out across many different tools, formats, and interfaces that were not easily searchable. People struggled finding the "sources of truth", and they sometimes didn't even know that something existed. By centralizing all the key information in Slite, this problem is greatly reduced.

 ### 34. Great things on the horizon

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ash G. | IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Slite?**

The AI integreation with slack is it's best feature. I can tell my staff to start either a public or private conversation with slite which in case you were wondering can be renamed within your slack integration for ease on memory for your staff. Because our slite is our single source of truth on all details relevant to my org, manually searching becomes a hassle, thus making the AI feature a godsend. I also like it's simplicity when it comes to permissions on access pages. I feel alot of services get it wrong trying to push different titles for "Admin", "Editor", "Reader" - sometimes sticking to the basics is best to not confuse of muddle the experience. Dark mode is also very helpful on the yes.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

It's clear that slite is still within post launch phase, so there are bugs but I will say that the support dev team were very quick to addres and debug WITH me AND had personality, thats important. You never want to speak to a generic robot when it comes to suport tickets. I would like to see more page cover features, like the ability to reposition the image on the cover page art. I would also like to see what other integrations could be plugged in. The tables are intuative but I feel that they could contain more infromation to bring the table to life. The templates could also be more robust. Again, these are only in the dislike because they do not exist yet or need some fine tuning. I know that Slite will roll out upgrades in their rollout plan.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having all my company info under a single pane of glass

 ### 35. Simple yet powerful tool

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thijs R. | Senior UI, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Slite's simplicity is what it's different from competitors and what makes it easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

I does reminds me of another tool, alsmost as if its cloned. Yet, in the end I prefer Slite over the other tool.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It organises taking and especially finding notes for the entire team. Slite acts like a shared space with notes.
Sometimes you'd wish to include saving other files as well, in competition to google drive, sharepoint and dropbox somehow.

 ### 36. Review of slite as a first time user

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Program Development | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Number of features, there are a lot of posibilities when creating and storing information

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

I dislike how hard it is to use Slite, it should be way more intuitive, as a first-time user most of the features and the way it works are hard to come by, hard to implement, and honestly, the amazing stuff you can do gets buried under how hard it is to find the options/features and tools (with more time, and familiarization with the app this can improve greatly thought)

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Right now I don't use it as much, but my main purpose is taking notes

 ### 37. Slite is a noteworthy collaboration and documentation tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Its intuitive interface and structured design foster an environment where information is easily created, accessed, and shared among team members, enhancing overall productivity and efficiency.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Less functionality than Notion overall but much less dear

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slite addresses the challenge of scattered information and inefficient collaboration within my team by providing a centralized platform for all our documents and knowledge. This has significantly streamlined our processes, making it easier for everyone to find the information they need quickly. The structured organization of channels and folders in Slite means that our documents are well-organized and accessible, reducing time wasted in searching for information across multiple platforms.

**Official Response from Anouk van Tuinen:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Slite! We're glad to hear that you find our intuitive interface and structured design helpful in enhancing productivity and efficiency.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mariano L. | CoFounder / CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Simple to use and setup.
Collaboration in real time, get everyone to communicate news and progress and work async with large teams.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

It's all good, nothing bad to say at the moment.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Create a shared knowledge base for all the company, open and accesssible.

 ### 39. Perfect product

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julien F. | Co-organisateur FrenchProduit Nantes-Bretagne, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Slite?**

So easy to work & collaborate online with your team without the use of documents.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Nothing, it works according to my expectations.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a distributed team and we can document, organise all of our work easily.

 ### 40. Best Company-Wide Knowledge Base Software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Professional Training & Coaching | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Easy to search, easy to edit and upload new content, and I love the folders & sidebar icons to keep things organized! Plus the slack integration and embedding google docs is a huge asset!

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

There's not much I dislike, it took some training to get the team fully up to speed on how to search and find content they needed, and the AI search doesn't always yield the best results but that's no different from any other knowledge base software

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps our team find the information they need quickly and keep a centralized source of data & SOPs for the company!

 ### 41. A easy to use, powerful markdown documentation and collaboration tool.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Having everything in one place is a great starting place to any documentation system, but being able to search with the Ask feature has been a dream. I'm also a huge fan of their document verification and expiry system, and has made it possible to add checking that all my documentation is up-to-date as a part of my weekly routine.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Although the collaborative elements are great (tagging, shared docs, access controls, etc) I'd still like to see even more - checklists are pointless when you can't assign ownership or due dates to them easily, or see them in a centralised place, for example!

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a consistent place for shared notes and collaboration that the entire business can use.

 ### 42. Great Place to Publish Company-wide Docs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Slite?**

I like that everyone has access to the site to create documents for certain folders. Slite's a great place to create Documents for Departments and sub-documents for each subject. It's easy to create tables, link, documents, and see any recent changes in the Updates page. I go into the site about every day to review company policies and access the list of company holidays.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Downside to Slite is the formatting on the page can take some time getting use to.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Company Wide Internal Knowledgement Management System. Slite stores all of our internal company policies and procedures for new product features, faqs, or helpful tips.

 ### 43. Slite fixed a forever problem!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica W. | Business Development Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Slite?**

I honestly love the simplicity of the interface. It's very easy to navigate and intuitive in setting up pages and structure. I also love that you can do a lot with the pages (add videos, add links, tie-in with Google). It's a great way to document and share a company's internal ways.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

I do wish it was a little better in allowing for "book" style structuring. Allow me to create and move pages in the order I want in tables, etc.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our team and company has always struggled with keeping documentation in one location for those that need it to get the information easily. Slite has fully accomplished this for us. All the data is there and searchable for team members. No more looking in 6 places.

**Official Response from Anouk van Tuinen:**

> We're happy to hear that Slite has been beneficial in solving your team's documentation challenges. I'm curious to learn more about your request for "book" style structuring. If you are open to it, would you be able to share (here or via support@slite.com) some more about what you are hoping to accomplish? Maybe it's something we can take into account for the future!

 ### 44. Game changing platform for documentation and collaboration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Slite combines a task management system, note taking and documentation platform all into one for better collaboration and view. Slite is very much so open to feedback and user experience updates as well!

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

It takes a little bit of time to fully figure out its features (I'm still learning and we've been using it for about 4 months). There is a little bit of a learning curve when decided what to user and how to use it.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collaboration and support!

 ### 45. Slite vs GitHub Docs

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Slite?**

The Al search feature makes up for almost everything about slite.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

The structure and intertace makes slite difficult to use. It is because of this that our team couldn't integrate and use slite as much.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slite makes it easy to search with their AI features. It made it easy to browse multiple docs.

 ### 46. We have just kicked this off to the company so we are seeing the view and getting feed back already.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer P. | V.P. of Finance and Human Resources Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Slite?**

I love the AI tool to search for things.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Change. Ha. Just learning new things at this point. So TBD.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To have a spot to get all of our things in order as a whole company

 ### 47. Simply a tremendously beautiful and effective tool for creating & sharing documentation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Slite?**

I like that Slite is laser-focused on documentation & doesn't try to do or be too many things like other competitors like Notion. It’s AI-powered Ask search utility seems very promising & well-implemented. It’s beautiful which makes it "fun" to write documentation & keep it up-to-date. Documentation done extremely well.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

I wish it was possible to share some part of the AI search utility for guest contributors to private documentation (my clients). It doesn't make financial sense for me to add each of my clients & their teams as members of my organization which is the only way to unlock Ask AI for them other than making the documentation public which isn’t always an option nor desired by my clients.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s helping me document the systems I’ve built for my clients to ideally help reduce my client-related support so they can become more self-sufficient. I’d love it if Slite could plug into or provide a basic customer support utility or plug into others.

**Official Response from Anouk van Tuinen:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Slite! I love that we are able to make writing documentation fun for you :) I'll share your feedback around making Ask available for guests with our product team, perhaps this is a workflow we can address in the near future.

 ### 48. Your knowledge base. Simplified.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paweł M. | Co-Founder & CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Slite?**

As a team that regularly welcomes new members, we found Slite to be an invaluable tool for our onboarding process. Its ease of use is unparalleled, allowing us to set up the essentials effortlessly and start onboarding new team members by the next morning.

The Q&A feature, in particular, has been a game-changer for us. It spares us from the time-consuming task of finding the right place in our knowledge base to address basic questions. Instead, we're able to quickly and efficiently provide answers to our new members' inquiries.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

The clarity of the Slite structure could be further improved. I would enjoy some more guidance as to how to make the most out of it.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Share my knowledge base with every employee, easily.

 ### 49. Slite is a great knowledge base environment

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Filipe K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

I have used many tools dedicated to document not only technical projects but also company culture and office amenities at the same time, and other solutions would excel in one and fall short at the other. Slite with it's great editor makes it easy for me to write technical documentations and for other members to write how to disarm the office alarm. And also, we had an issue with one of our documents and we were able to get an actual technical person to reach out to us and fix the bug in a matter of days.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

I wish that I could have vim keybindings in the editor (or, even better, allow me to edit documents from my own editor — but I know this can be tricky)

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's realy ease to link related documents together and tag team members that might have more expertise to improve the current document

 ### 50. Use it as a team-wiki for documents that need continuous updating

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sukran Bahar S. | Graduate Student, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Slite?**

I like that this is a great way to access and edit "living documents" and can navigate related documents in a website style rather than going through individual folders stored on a cloud/drive system. I use this in a research lab, in which I can have a project heading and can add instructions, scripts, different information on how to navigate the projects, and also update files as we go. This way, I can always make sure that my teammates and assistants have access to the most updated version of these documents.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

I wouldn't use this with anything that has identifiable information, or needs to be stored with all file versions. I don't use any file that I don't want to be accidentally updated or changed. I think that this is supposed to be for 'living documents' and is excellent for remote training and onboarding for various projects and work environments. However, it's not for storing all your documents.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Like I mentioned before, this has been an excellent tool for onboarding and training people remotely. They can read background information, project responsibilities, keep a log of their work for everyone to see! It's cut down on time we spend on video meetings and is much easier to navigate than many folders on a drive!

**Official Response from Clément Rog:**

> Hey Sukran, thanks for taking the time to leave a review! We're glad to have you onboard
