- Integration process seems to be difficult for a newbie.

- There is a decent learning curve for Slack integrations.

- Limited control over notifications. Sometimes unrelated notifications distract from the ongoing task. For example, if I am working on a project with multiple team members, a new task is assigned to another team member, and because of the integration, I also receive a notification. It allows the users to receive Jira notifications directly in Slack, view Jira issues, create Jira issues from Slack messages and link Slack conversations directly to Jira enhancing the overall workflow efficiency and integration between these two platforms. Well for me a downside of Slack Integration for Jira could be the complexity of its setting up and configuring the integration especially for new users who are not familiar with both of these Slack and Jira. Also some users may find that after integrating Slack and Jira it generates a high volume of notifications in Slack which could lead to information overload if it is not managed properly. Sometimes, I find searching capability of slack less competitive than other communication tools and also I feel sometimes that for more complicated jobs, it might not be able to completely eliminate the necessity to access Jira directly, which could break workflow continuity.
