We already knew that we wanted a solution for making regular backups of our SF data, but we didn't have any specific criteria for that. Just wanted it to be simple in use and economic in price. We're excited about Skyvia because it's clear, the backup is done in 4 steps all in visual form. An additional surprise was the automation of backups, so just one-time setup was needed. After several weeks of using Skyvia Backup we figured it our that our oldest backups were deleted. The reason was that there was not enough space for newer backups so the oldest got removed. And we didn't get any notifications about the lack of space. If anyone has the same thing, go to notification setting in your account and turn on notifications there. Skyvia appears very efficient in transferring data from Google Sheets to Amazon S3. Its interface is understandable, so it's rather easy to set up and manage data flows. Its ability to schedule data exports and automate workflows is a huge plus. Owing to Skyvia we know that the data on Amazon S3 is always up-to-date without frequent manual interventions. Skyvia offers full-featured backup solutions and a user friendly interface. While searching around I tried several other platforms to find the perfect fit for our company. Skyvia was the clear winner. Their platform integrated smoothly with our ActiveCampaign Sales CRM platform and scheduled backup automatons ran on cue.

Restoring relational data can be tricky - frustrating and time consuming. For piece of mind I performed a 'test' restoration to our connected CRM. The test consisted of selected contact records with associated deal (purchase) records. The restoration from backup was flawless and took less than 5 minutes using Skyvia Snapshot. Very easy to configure and get going. We used a partner to help, but could easily have learned how to use it and set it up without help. We were just operating on a very tight timeline and decided that buying the expertise would help us achieve our goal. We set up an integration between our Salesforce org and a custom-built on-premise database that is used every day. The integration runs three times per day, on a schedule, and that works wonderfully for us. I only contacted their support team once, so not much of a sample but my experience with the support team was very favorable. They responded quickly and resolved my issue satisfactorily. I have a very specific purpose for using Skyvia, so the number of features in the system is not that significant to me. However I am impressed by the number of connectors they have available. I don't have much to say about what I dislike. I'm very satisfied with the system. Perhaps the only issue would be the amount of record transfers that are included in the base price of the various product tiers. I understand the need to have flexible pricing, but perhaps the base packages could be expanded to include a larger amount of record transfers before the overage charge occurs.
