# What are the most trusted insurance policy administration systems by policy administrators at insurance carriers based on user reviews?

I'm putting together a roundup on policy administration tools and a question that I was curious about: what are the most trusted insurance policy administration systems by policy administrators at insurance carriers, based on user reviews? Wanted to get practitioner input from those working in the Insurance Policy Administration Systems space, since the answer isn't easy to pin down from the outside and real day-to-day experience tells a different story than marketing claims. Here are five platforms that appear consistently in this category with a notable presence in the carrier market: BriteCore - A cloud-native P&C platform covering policy management, quoting, billing, and claims in one system. Updates are handled on the vendor side, so carrier teams don't manage version upgrades. Riskonnect Policy Administration - A policy administration platform that replaces manual Excel-based underwriting with fully automated rating, with native integration across Riskonnect's billing and claims products. InsureEdge - An all-in-one platform covering policy administration and claims across P&C, Life, and General Insurance, with single-screen access to policy and customer details for operational teams. MGA Systems - Built for programme administrators and MGAs, automating the policy lifecycle from quoting through invoicing and issuance, with NetRate integration for real-time ISO and programme rating. Nexsure - An agency management system covering quoting, binding, renewals, endorsements, and certificate management, with centralised documentation and automated renewal and billing communications. I'm curious what drives trust in practice; system reliability, support quality, or how the platform handles edge cases. Are there others in this space worth including?

Trust is kind of a loaded word in this space. I've seen carriers rave about a platform in year one and then quietly start building workarounds by year three. Support responsiveness and how the vendor handles edge cases matter way more than star ratings when you're dealing with real policy data day to day.
