For a legacy project where I need basic web functionality on a microcontroller for a legacy project, SitePlayer gives me a way to easily fit an HTTP server. This is particularly an area where SitePlayer seems to have no support or interface with the modern tools and frameworks. SitePlayer is based on WebGUI, which I mostly write in higher-level frameworks for web development; It is a little trickier to write the server side logic in C.
