Silent Shard Reviews & Product Details

Silence Laboratories builds MPC infrastructure for institutions that build, not buy, digital asset custody. Banks, custodians, and wallet providers use our SDKs to run key management in-house, with no single point of key compromise and no dependence on a third-party custody platform. Silent Shard, our flagship, is an MPC key management and signing SDK. Private keys never exist as a whole anywhere. They are generated and held as distributed cryptographic shares, and transactions are approved through threshold signatures across parties. The result: key theft as a risk class is eliminated, not mitigated. Silent Shard powers institutional cold and distributed custody, embedded wallets, and transaction policy controls including quorum approvals and audit trails. Silent Compute, our cryptographic computing engine, runs analytics on encrypted data shares so raw data never moves between parties. It is live on the Databricks Marketplace, where it turns governed clean rooms into cryptographically trustless ones, and it powered the cross-border credit data collaboration that won the G20 TechSprint 2025 with Proxtera. Why institutions choose Silence Laboratories: • Infrastructure, not a custodian. You keep the keys, the deployment, and the regulator relationship. We provide the cryptography. • Vendor-neutral. Built for institutions running self-build custody stacks who need a technology partner, not a platform lock-in. • Hardware-ready. Official Thales technology partner; Silent Shard pairs with Thales Luna HSMs for hybrid HSM plus MPC architectures. • Independently audited. Security audits by Trail of Bits and Cure53. • Post-quantum ready. Our signing schemes are built for the PQC transition, so custody infrastructure deployed today survives the next cryptographic era. Silence Laboratories is trusted across the digital asset ecosystem, from wallet infrastructure providers to institutional pilots, and convenes the industry through DeCompute, our conference series on decentralized security and privacy, attended by the Bank for International Settlements, Bank of America, Google, and the Ethereum Foundation.
