**What do you like best about SHOUTcast?**

Shoutcast is a streaming server application that is used for Web Radio Applications.  It allows you to stream and monetize a radio broadcast of your own choices and content selections.  It is possible to start with a free service and migrate up to a paid platform as you get listeners.

**What do you dislike about SHOUTcast?**

Some of the older versions do not get supported and one forum I was subscribing to has been generating a great deal of spam and has stopped supporting the older platform and winamp player associated with it.

**What problems is SHOUTcast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Attempt to establish a web radio station.  It allows me to try with a free station

**What do you like best about SHOUTcast?**

We liked the service, but the company  we bought it from was horrible.

**What do you dislike about SHOUTcast?**

We used a company that was smaller and out of the country because at the time, we were unable to get it directly through shoutcast.

The stats were also awful. Customer service left more to be desired. We eventually left and began using a cloud based company and all of those issues were resolved for our online radio station.

**What problems is SHOUTcast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We left. No benefits to be realized.
