Easy to set up and use. The program has many good features, but still needs some basic improvements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1. There are features I have asked about, such as I want away to keep track of where my customer referrals are coming from; when I asked about this, they told me no one ever asked for this feature! Do you want to know where your business is being generated from...when I put a customer in the POS I should be able to have an option, referred by: google, John Doe, Facebook, etc. 2. Then I asked about generating a report of who has not ordered or been in my store in more than 30 days (so I can send out a text) so it would be nice to be able to generate a report that has the name, phone number and date last ordered so that I could upload to my texting program. NO option, and again they told my manager, no one ever asked. I'm disappointed no one cares more about the customer at lightspeed/shopkeep as the software is very easy to use, and there are many good features, and I do like it. 3. The hardware you have to use with their system is not very good; my scanners use a lot of double AA batteries and are barely out of warranty...the system definitely could be better. Shopkeep POS is a nicely laid out system with nice tools for keeping track of POS activities. Some of the recent changes to fix little nits have been welcome, but it is good for a small shop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

First and foremost, the interaction between the iPad POS and the Clover device is very inconsistent. The clover has serious problems with not connecting and the POS app on the iPad does not seem to notice it properly. It fails too often and when there are customers present. It is very nice when it works but there are too many times when it fails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
