"Mostly solid ecommerce platform with good integrations—quirky UI and some feature gaps"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Shopify Plus?

It's a solid platform. The UI/UX is kind of quirky, but once you get used to it, they'll change it without warning, so nothing to worry about. Performance is generally good and you can integrate the platform with just about anything else you can think of, so it has that going for it. It's expensive, but worth the price. Onboarding and support are pretty good, but you interact with marketing and salespeople instead of anyone technical, so don't expect too much from the support folks. There are some basic AI capabilities, but none of them work very well (if at all) so don't look for that. Overall, it's a solid platform for ecommerce. Features and security are top-notch, many of the "bells and whistles" are more marketing that substance though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shopify Plus?

Sometimes Shopify, as a company, seems more focused on marketing and selling their product than they are in improving their products for their users. Many feature requests and suggestions seem to be ignored despite years of pleading by users. Overall, it's a good platform despite it's shortcomings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Built for Growth, Not Headaches"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Shopify Plus?

Shopify Plus is great because it just works when things get big. You can have crazy traffic or big drops and it doesn’t crash or slow down, which is huge.

I like how flexible it is too—you can customize a lot without it turning into a total headache. And the checkout is super smooth, which actually helps sales. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shopify Plus?

Biggest downside is the price—it’s expensive, so if you’re not already doing strong revenue, it feels like overkill.

Also, even though it’s “customizable,” you still hit some platform limits. You can’t fully control everything like you could with a fully custom site, especially around checkout unless you’re using the newer extensibility stuff.

Apps can get annoying too. You end up relying on a bunch of them, and the costs stack up fast. Plus, too many apps can slow things down or break stuff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, Scalable, and Always Innovating—with Lightning-Fast Shopify Plus Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Shopify Plus?

I have been using Shopify Plus for 8+ years. I love the simplicity of the platform and how it enables us to scale our business. Shopify Plus is constantly innovating to bring new features to the platform as well. The most beneficial thing is the fast support. I am able to talk to a real person on the Shopify Plus support team in less than a minute. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shopify Plus?

There are few limitations to Shopify Plus. If I had to pinpoint one it would be the reporting side. I use a third party app to run analytics and reports to understand how my business is doing and where we can improve. It seems the third party app is slightly ahead of Shopify when it comes to fields they can report on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Shopify Plus Scales Effortlessly for High-Volume Ecommerce"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Shopify Plus?

What I like best about Shopify Plus is its scalability and ease of managing high volume ecommerce operations. The platform provides powerful tools for handling large product catalogs, automation, multi store management, and enterprise level sales without requiring extensive technical expertise. I also appreciate the reliability, strong ecosystem of integrations, and the ability to customize the shopping experience while maintaining excellent performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shopify Plus?

One area that could be improved is the cost, which may be significant for smaller businesses. While the platform offers extensive functionality, some advanced customizations and integrations may require additional development resources or third party applications. Reporting and customization options could also be more flexible in certain scenarios. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Shopify Plus: Enterprise Power with a User-Friendly, Scalable Experience"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Shopify Plus?

What I like best about Shopify Plus is how it combines powerful enterprise features with a very user-friendly interface. The platform is easy to navigate, which makes daily store management simple even for non-technical teams. Implementation is also relatively smooth, allowing businesses to get up and running quickly.

Another major advantage is the large ecosystem of integrations and apps, making it easy to connect with marketing, payment, and logistics tools. Shopify Plus also offers a strong set of built-in features and automation options that help streamline operations as a business grows. On top of that, the customer support is responsive and helpful, which makes managing and scaling an ecommerce store much easier overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shopify Plus?

One downside of Shopify Plus is that while it offers many built-in features, some advanced customizations still require development work or third-party apps. This can increase costs over time, especially for businesses that need very specific functionality. Additionally, although the platform integrates well with many tools, certain integrations may require additional configuration to work seamlessly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Custom App Builder That Makes Our Store Stand Out"
5/5
What do you like best about Shopify Plus?

The ability to build custom apps helps our website and ecommerce store stand out, ensuring we don’t blend in with the rest. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shopify Plus?

The amount of time we have to wait to get actual feedback from the support team could definitely be improved, as much as the AI bot has been improved to better the self service, a few custom solutions that sit outside of the data need plus support to review integrations and provide that feedback. "Powerful E-commerce Platform with Room for Improvement"
5/5
What do you like best about Shopify Plus?

I’ve been using Shopify Plus for scaling an e-commerce business, and it's a powerful platform. I really like its scalability as it handles high traffic and bulk orders smoothly, with no tension during sales spikes. The ease of use stands out because, compared to other enterprise platforms, it's simple to manage without heavy tech knowledge. The automation features, especially Shopify Flow, save a lot of manual work with tasks like order tagging, inventory alerts, and customer segmentation. The app ecosystem is fantastic—almost every feature can be added via apps, whether it's for marketing, shipping, or analytics. Additionally, the multi-channel selling is great, making integration with Amazon, social media, and international markets easy. What I like most of all about Shopify Plus is the automation and scalability combo. Shopify Flow particularly lets me automate repetitive tasks, saving a lot of manual work and time, especially when orders start growing fast. Secondly, the scalability means even during heavy traffic, the site doesn’t crash or slow down, eliminating worries about servers or backend issues. Lastly, despite being an enterprise-level platform, it remains easy to manage without needing a full tech team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shopify Plus?

Shopify Plus is too expensive for what you get, with high base costs and needing multiple paid apps, which increases the monthly cost and complexity. There's a heavy dependence on paid apps for basic features like advanced filtering, subscriptions, or detailed analytics. Customization is limited, as you'll need developers for very custom checkout flows or backend logic. There are also extra transaction fees if Shopify Payments aren't used, which can be frustrating for certain regions or business setups. The support isn't always 'Plus-level'; for complex issues, responses can be generic or slow, which is disappointing given the pricing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Business customization is possible, but app compatibility needs improvement."
3.5/5
What do you like best about Shopify Plus?

I like that Shopify Plus allows you to connect and use multiple apps and configure the business center according to the plan you need. The seller-friendly interface enhances the user experience, and the basic report service provides various filtering options to help you view more accurate data when analyzing data. It is advantageous that you can implement complex logic, such as setting free shipping for specific customer segments or showing a gift selector based on the cart amount, and apply it to the checkout stage according to your own business rules. These features positively impact conversion rates. Additionally, I found Shopify's interface itself to be seller-friendly, making the setup feel easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shopify Plus?

Honestly, I think using multiple apps is the most complicated thing. When you use multiple apps, each script is injected into the product page or checkout page, which can interfere with the layout, such as blocking the add to cart button or the checkout button. Also, the more apps there are, the slower the website seems to become. Using multiple apps allows for business customization that suits me, but I think there are these issues as well. I believe there needs to be coordination and improvement on the backend so that app scripts do not interfere with each other. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful, Enterprise-Ready Shopify Plus with Great Support and Customization"
5/5
What do you like best about Shopify Plus?

Shopify Plus is helpful for enterprise businesses and is a powerful tool that provides access to all Shopify APIs with higher API limits. It also offers advanced features such as customizable checkout pages and detailed analytics reports. Additionally, it supports tax configuration, and we use the Avalara service to assist with tax collection. It is a very powerful platform we have created three Shopify Plus stores for our clients. Overall, it provides one of the best eCommerce solutions available. Shopify Plus support also very helpful to solve any issues or integration. AI is also helpful to create good design and product descriptions. Admin panel performance is good, and the best design for UI/UX Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful API Integrations with Room for Pricing Improvement"
4/5
What do you like best about Shopify Plus?

I usually use Shopify Plus for building websites for nearby stores, and I find the API integration features and some premium features really helpful for both me and the shops. I like that it can handle a large volume of customers at once while maintaining the same speed, which is crucial for a good customer experience, particularly when the shop's website gets around 50,000 to 130,000 customer visits a day. This ensures customers get what they want efficiently, so they don't get bored. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Shopify Plus?

Sometimes the investment or particularly the pricing of the plans doesn't payback well for all websites. Like the plans are made same for all kinds of customers but when it comes to a small shop if there is a sudden boom in their website that is not able to handle and they need to upgrade the plan. After a while when they don't require that plan, they don't have the option to downgrade the plan. The initial setup was a bit easy but also some steps were quite complex to figure out for an initial beginner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
