## About Shapelab
Shapelab is a highly efficient 3D sculpting application optimized for virtual reality devices. The software takes advantage of VR technology to provide an immersive and intuitive interface that allows designers to sculpt in 3D space, giving them a new level of control and creative freedom. With Shapelab, users can easily create high-quality 3D assets to use as props, characters, concepts for applications, games, and virtual worlds, as well as digital concept art and storyboards. Shapelab’s use of polygons instead of voxels allows for sculpting stunning, well-detailed, and realistic 3D assets and importing and editing large and complex 3D scans.

**What do you like best about Shapelab?**

Shapelab let me to sculpt directly, again, in 3D space with such intuitive hand controls feels incredibly natural and enabled me to work very organic shapes and textures which is very difficult by using 2D equivalents.

**What do you dislike about Shapelab?**

Shapelab has a messy and user unfriendly material management system. With complex models that may have different textures, it may take some time to assign and adjust material to varying sections of my sculpts.

**What problems is Shapelab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am awestruck by the creativity that has been opened to me by Shapelab In terms of sculpting with the help of the VR technology I have never sculpted anything like before and the freedom of manipulating stunning 3D high-polygon assets is incredible.

**What do you like best about Shapelab?**

I believe that the cherry on top of Shapelab is indisputably its stunning VR experience. Working in the 3D space is rather smooth and flexibility, providing good control in modeling and much detailed work.

**What do you dislike about Shapelab?**

Shapelab is a disappointingly small brush library. The impression of a rather narrow choice in comparison with other programs of sculpting. The brushes are not developed for purposes such as texturing, engraving details or creating certain natural forms.

**What problems is Shapelab solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Shapelab does not require an external configuration with a mouse and keyboard for sculpting in its 3D environment.  Through the use of the interface in VR mode, sculpting is easier and less cumbersome as compared to interacting with a mouse and keyboard.
