"Exceptional Partner for Legacy ERP Data Archival"

What do you like best about Sesame Software?

We recently needed to retire a legacy ERP system while still preserving its data for historical reference and legal retention requirements. We selected Sesame Software to support this initiative, and the experience was exceptional.

Despite a tight project timeline, the Sesame Software team went above and beyond to allocate the necessary resources and ensure the work was completed on schedule and within budget. We also engaged them for several additional database lookup requests, and once again, they demonstrated strong responsiveness and delivered high quality results. Our internal teams were very pleased with both the accuracy of the data and the level of service provided.

What do you like best about Sesame Software?

What I like best about the Sesame Software Data Management Suite is how effectively it simplifies the setup and configuration of data synchronization across multiple environments. The user interface is intuitive and easy to use, which significantly reduces the time and complexity typically associated with managing cross-environment data movement. The application provides 24/7 synchronization of data across those environments, ensuring consistency and availability at all times. In addition, the customer support is excellent - responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping resolve issues and optimize usage of the platform. What do you dislike about Sesame Software?

One of the main challenges to be aware of with the Sesame Software Data Management Suite is that some target environments inherently do not support high throughput. This is not a limitation of the product itself, but it does require careful consideration when setting up data movement. In particular, when dealing with high volumes of updates, it can be difficult to keep data synchronized in near real time if that is the desired outcome, so configurations need to be designed with those constraints in mind.

Additionally, while the logging and monitoring capabilities are sufficient for most situations, there have been instances where it was difficult to quickly identify the root cause of why a particular setup was not working as expected. That said, customer support has consistently been able to help diagnose and resolve these issues, which mitigates the impact of this limitation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sesame Software Data Management Suite is solving the challenge of reliably and efficiently synchronizing data across multiple, heterogeneous environments such as SQL Server, Cloud SQL, Google BigQuery, and Salesforce. Without a centralized solution, this typically requires building and maintaining multiple custom tools or scripts to handle similar data movement and integration tasks, which increases complexity, cost, and operational risk.

By allowing data synchronization pipelines to be configured and managed within a single application, the suite centralizes these activities and eliminates the need to use or develop multiple separate tools for the same operations. It also supports multiple modes of operation, including one-way and two-way data movement as well as archiving, which provides flexibility to address different business and operational requirements.
