Sendybay was a life saver. Before using them we did two things. First we self hosted out Sendy account through a GoDaddy shared server and were constantly being throttled due to overusing bandwidth. Secondly, when we switched to our own self hosted server (bare bones non-shared server) we were quickly hacked and the email that our marketing emails are sent from was used to send substantial amounts of spam. We have had no problems since switching to SendyBay and it allows us to continue sending marketing emails for cheap while feeling more secure. Thanks Apoorv and team! I was attracted to using Sendy for email marketing since it is a powerful, established email marketing solution that uses Amazon SES for sending emails. Amazon SES has excellent inbox deliverability and is very inexpensive and even gives you your first 62,000 email sends per month for free.

With Sendy, you typically have to self host the app using Amazon EC2, Digital Ocean or some other hosting service. Self hosting can involve complicated setup steps, application upgrades, downtime and a whole bunch of other issues that I didn’t want to deal with so I looked for managed Sendy hosting where I can concentrate on my email marketing and not have to deal with the hassle of self hosting.

SendyBay has been very reliable for my Sendy hosting needs and their support is knowledgeable and friendly. SendyBay also has added additional features on top of the base functionality of Sendy including a drag-and-drop email builder, list cleaning and email testing. The drag-and-drop email builder is handy and is a big upgrade over Sendy’s default email editor, which isn’t very good.

If you are looking for a powerful and inexpensive email marketing solution, then Sendy is a great option and if you don’t want to deal with the time-consuming technical hurdles of self-hosting Sendy then SendyBay’s managed hosting is an ideal solution that allows you to concentrate on your email marketing. Of all the email marketing tools currently available in the market, this is the cheapest when you want to send a few emails and makes it a good option. It is straightforward to configure your software in the cloud. It took me less than 5 minutes to set it up. Sendybay also has many templates that you can use when emailing other people. It would take a long time to send a mass email. My sends are very slow, still not as fast as Drip. My bulks mails take 8-10 minutes to go out instead of 1 minute. I wouldn't say I like that the price goes up when you send many emails. You don-t get support for your previous plans. What is awesome with sendybay is their awesome support: they are responsive and fast and their advices were essential to us while being stressed to schedule a bulk email campaign and AWS and other bulk mail platform and mounting a sendy server ourselves made our life miserable.

Then the second awesomeness is the very low cost. With sendy + sendybay + AWS (well tuned) bulk email cost a tiny fraction of big ones like Mailshimp.

I read in another review that sendybay is slow. Actually their technology goes as fast as AWS permit with a typical rate of 14 mail per seconds with max 50K mails / days (AWS usual limit). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

i used to be host sendy on my regular website server. Yes there was no extra cost but autoresponders never worked properly. Switching to Sendybay was one of the best decision i've ever made. sendy works like expensive crm solution with sendybay. mails sent fast and on time. i've been using sendybay about 1 year and i never had a big problem.
